I was looking for an architect and i used bark to get some quotes within 2 hours i got a call from calum for a chat he asked if i was available the next day and we agreed to meet onsite in port glasgow to discuss my project, when i got there he was already onsite and taking measurements and drawing a site plan.
The site had planning permission for 2 detached homes but i wanted to put 2 sets of semi detached houses to compliment the site and its river views.
After many phone calls and discussions on site calum came up with a 3 story plan to take advantage of the severely sloped site i didnt want a bridge that had been constructed further up the street so the idea was to bury the First floor at the front so it looked like a 2 story house we gained planning permission first time of asking and working with the planners and keeping them up to speed and meeting them on a regular basis. i cant thank calum enough for putting up with my amendments and look forward to working with him in the future.
He is a breath of fresh air in the architect world and i have no doubt that he will make your dreams come true.
Thanks calum

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
A quick survey of the roof trusses or joist / rafters (generally depending on the age of the property) and check that the new stair arrangement will comply with current fire regulations. Would also have to check with my structural engineer that my assumptions are correct

What do you love most about your job?
Achieving consistent wins and gaining happy customers.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Always wanted to, just needed to make sure I had all the tools.
Why should our clients choose you?
I work with private clients as I would with a developer, always looking to ensure the best, most commercially viable solution. Also, I'm a sole trader so, if you do undertake a project with MMA, it me that you will be dealing with through out (rather than an inexperienced assistant)
