Love this place! Friendly service behind the bar. Drinks were great and not too expensive. Food was tasty as well! Not your typical bar food

Service is always awesome even when they have a full house. The service was very kind and attentive. It has a nice feel to it. Ambience reminds me of Colorado Springs area. More...

I've been here several times and every time was awesome. The food, the beer, the atmosphere. So many TVs to watch a game on that you won't miss any of the action.

Typical Bar/ Pub place. Best thing going for it is how long they stay open as opposed to other places in the city. Food was great and mixed drinks were good.

Wow! I had a delicious burger while I watched both the NBA and NHL playoffs. Beer selection is deep. If you can't find an adult beverage here you won't find one anywhere. The gentleman next to me at the bar had the wings. He said that they were delicious. The service from the bar staff was also awesome. If you are in Chicago and are looking for a place to watch a game or meet some friends, this is the place. Excellent, More...

Good food. Good beer selection. Very good service for a pub. Lots of events scheduled. Great place to grab a bite and a beer. I had the fish and chips. It was cooked well, but just a little excess oil. I think the service stood out to me most. More...

Had an amazing lunch here. Service was perfect. Quick drinks and appetizer, waited for us to actually eat and talk before coming back for the rest. Almost as soon as we had finished up our order was delivered. Food was really fresh and hot when it arrived. I'll come back! More...

Better than i expected. It is very large with plenty of space and discrete areas. They even have pool. I would call it a sports bar, but it actually more. A complete drink menu with reasonable bar menu. Reasonable by choice and cost More...

Had such a great time here. I went here my wife for a couple drinks one night and it was great. We were able to hang out, everyone was friendly we caught a little of the Cubs game and was just an overall good time. Love the environment.

Just sat down with my family last night. Both my wife and I had a great meal, and our two boys (4 and 7), also had good food (there is a good kids menu). No wait, despite being Friday at 7.

The waiter was awesome in helping with drink selections. The food was served very fast as well for being so packed. Great job! My Chicgo style beef sandwich was excellent and my wife's onion jam burger was delicious too.

A great experience for our annual trip to Chicago. We decided to give this a try as something new and came out finding a good choice.

Thank you!

Awesome pub with incredible beer selection both draft and bottle, good Happy hour and daily beer specials! Huge bar to sit at with tons of TVs. It's underground so a bit dark but kinda adds to the atmosphere nicely. Free pool tables during happy hour 3-6 I believe. Food was excellent, loved the cobb salad and the wild boar meatloaf! Founders All Day IPA on draft is very nice. More...

Nice, "typically Irish" pub.
Basement of the building. Friendly staff. Good finger foods. Had some boneless wings and the Irish Nachos (fries with toppings). Good selection of beers.

Traveling on business and this place was right down from the hotel and it was NBA playoff time so I was looking for a place to watch a game. After being seated I was attend to with great attention and courtesy. I had the fish and chips which was the flakeiest fish I have had, couple that with some malt vinegar and homemade tartar sauce and it was outstanding. Had to try the bread pudding and oh my, so glad I did, words don't do it justice.. Just get it and see for yourself. By the way with over 70 HD TVs you don't miss a second of whatever sports your into.. Great experience and will come again next time in town.. More...

Good portion of well done fries and their cocktails are good too. Their local beers are sometimes in smaller portions than most pints, so do check before ordering.
Good space to follow several sports - they had 6/7 screens with soccer, baseball and hockey.

A large pub we found on the way back to our hotel. Lots of seating, good lighting and pool tables. They have daily drink specials, but the Saturday night martini is awful. We did not have any food there but what others had looked good. Not a dark, dingy place - lots of TVs and nice bathrooms. More...

I mean it's Timmy O'Toole's. It's a classic Chi town Irish watering hole. Head downstairs and let the lure and love of Irish culture cast over you. By that I mean cheap drinks, good conversations with strangers and bar food that is actually pretty darn tasty. I use to go to this place for after work drinks almost daily so it was a home away from work before home if you get me. More...

For all its faults I liked it enough to go six times in the two weeks I was in Chicago.

Nothing major, just kept picking drafts that were 86'd without a backup, four in total. Which wasn't a big deal as they have a ton of taps.

Coworker did the challenge in 10 minutes, that was fun to watch.
Also got some free mini shots of fireball as the vendor was there.

Obviously will be returning if I'm in the area again.

Had dinner here with my family Tuesday night and we had a great time despite a rocky beginning. Our waitress thought we were joking with her because when she was trying to take our drink orders quite a few of the things we asked for couldn't happen lol For example: no Dr. Pepper, no frozen drinks, no strawberry margarita, no strawberry lemonade.
BUT, the food was great and we got drinks to go with it! Get the chocolate brownie dessert if you're ever there because it's to die for!

I came here for the wings, and it does not disappoint. The wings are big and flavorful, with a multitude of flavors.
The atmosphere is lively and fun. The walls are covered with TV's so you can catch whatever games is being broadcasted. The staff are friendly, and constant. You won't have problem waving one down.
Other memorable mentions is the apple crisp. Save room for it, you will not regret it. It's sweet but not too sweet, the apples are soft and the oatmeal crisp is crunchy.

Really tasty and fun bar and restaurant. There is an area where there are some family sized tables (separated by a wall from the main bar scene) and there is a bar to sit at on the other side with high top bar tables. This bar has great, stiff drinks but also really delicious bar food AND Irish staples! Service is usually good, and there are TVs everywhere so no matter where you sit you can see a game or news (whatever is popular at the time). Personal favorites of mine are their Fish and Chips, wings, and any of their pulled pork dishes. But everything is worth a try! More...

Everything you could hope for from an Irish pub in Chicago. Good food served fast. Endless video monitors acknowledge the rich sport's tradition of the town. Football games really are events. One of my must stop places in Chicago. From the moment you walk down the stairs you are immersed in a traditional pub, the hustle of the city left behind. When you walk out it seems odd to step up into a bustling city. Ribs are tasty, and fall off the bone. Sandwiches are great. I have ordered a variety of entrees over several years and each becomes my new favorite. Just a note, during home team games it can get loud, but that's part of the atmosphere. Looking forward to my next trip to Chicago. More...

After an initial negative experience I returned here for dinner and had a very different experience. The food was better, the wait staff much more polite and attentive.
I have been back on 2 other occasions while in town for work and my 3 positive experiences outweigh the 1 negative. I recommend the wings. They are crispy without being burnt, and the sauces have a very good flavor. They aren't the spiciest you will ever try (even the ghost chili ones) which in my opinion is a good thing. They give you some heat without ruining the meal.
All in all, it's a good place for a game.
