What can you say about Ma Boyle other than great food great drinks good atmosphere also not far from the docks or town centre.

There is a Pub Quiz held at Ma Boyle's which is a great laugh, and the staff are very friendly. On the second Sunday of each month the quiz is carried out by Niel Fitzmaurice and is definitely worth attending. The Sunday Roast Fondue is a fantastic idea and tastes lovely - but unfortunately the gravy spits out everywhere! The desserts are lovely and I would definitely recommend their food choices! More...

Can't thank jim and his staff he went above and beyond for us while we been down here so much so we wanted to stay and make it our local. He was knowledgeable friendly happy just want you wanted we enjoyed yourself so much he was engaging.... we frist went and ordered cocktails but they sold out of few and some of the others they didn't have the stuff to make but that didn't put them off they mage a new 1 with ingredients they had and it was amazing. Second night had a bluegrass and ragtime band on who was amazing it was busy but he found us a lovely little spot and look after us. We had food her too and it was lovely and everybody else food that came out looked amazing too. Hidden away up a side street off Dale Road, just behind the Liver Building, this busy pub with food has a young, friendly feel. The staff are smiley, chatty and welcoming and very efficient.
The drinks were served promptly and the food was appetising and we'll presented.

Always a great spot. Top food, drinks and quality entertainment. Beautiful cabaret bar for private dos downstairs. Staff and the mixed crowd are always a friendly bunch. Will be back soon.

Lovely service with a good selection of beers cocktails and good quality food. It has a chilled vibe and comfortable layout. I would recommend going in for lunch/dinner and ordering of their menu rather than book their afternoon tea service.
