About

I am a Chartered Architectural Technologist and my practice is registered with CIAT (The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists. I predominantly work on existing buildings in the education, heritage and community sectors, though I also take on domestic projects. I am not an architect, so my focus in designing buildings is not on spectacular, award winning architecture, but on good design, well-constructed and functional – ordinary, but beautiful.
In addition, I have a master’s degree in Quantity Surveying and have experience of working as a bot a Professional and Commercial QS. While I now focus more on architecture, this experience enables me to advise on costs, contracts and risk management as well as producing high quality construction drawings and documents.

The services I offer include full architectural services, contract administration, project management, expert witness and building surveys.
