We found Marco on the internet so had no preconceptions of what to expect but we needn't have worried. The whole process was extremely professional from start to finish. Marco turned up on time and got straight to work entertaining young and old alike. We had about 25 people and all were amazed at Marco's magic. Marco came to a joint birthday party for my Dad and me, and was incredible! We had 70 guests of all different ages, but Marco talked to everyone with ease and performed to mixed groups. No one has any idea how he does his tricks but he was the highlight of the day - everyone thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment he brought! How long have you been interested in magic?
Since I was about five years old, although I didn't start learning it until I was at university.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
For walk around close-up magic, all the magic is revolved around ordinary objects which I either bring with me or borrow.
It’s impossible to list all of the objects I can do tricks with here, but a good majority of the tricks you will see use cards, coins, rubber bands, pens, napkins, rings, bank notes, business cards – the list is endless. I add variety to my performances so that one group will see tricks with several different objects.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing genuine wonder in the eyes of the peopleI'm performing for.
