I Think she's retired now made sure that I didn't stray into ILLEGAL situations She was INCREDIBLE When I went into a new business CABANA LOUNGE 5342 N. CUMBERLAND I was sad to see she had retired BUT ! While googling around for an accountant I stumbled across M&R Ferber, I called and was able to speak with Patrick right away regarding my issues. I needed to do this years taxes as well as an amendment for a previous year. The gov't had told me I would be able to fill these forms out myself, but quite frankly after taking one look at them it seemed like a daunting task. During tax season they were taking walks in, so I came in with the info and documents I had and Patrick took great care of all my tax questions and issues, and made it look easy. I think I was there for an hour and all my tax woes were taken care of. Honestly, I came here on a whim and so far it's turned out to be a wonderful experience. I haven't heard back from the govt to see if my amendment went through, but Patrick let me know that he would continue to help me pursue the issue if necessary. My thanks to Jim L. at M&R Ferber for attention to detail, expert tax guidance, and electronic filing. Jim asks in-depth questions to:a) calculate appropriate income, b) apply all deductions, and c) obtain maximum refund. He knows how to declare non-traditional income (Airbnb, Uber etc.) to keep his clients on the straight and narrow while at the same time obtaining as many deductions as possible. He also offers tax strategies (calculating accurate W-4 paycheck deductions etc.).Jim knows the tax code and he works hard for his clients, even answers a few questions for me during the year about whether or not to pre-pay certain expenses, quarterly tax filings etc. Thanks Jim!
