Since 2017, Chris has produced brilliant designs for our client Christmas cards, showing his creative abilities and his flair for originality. Communication with Chris was straightforward; he took on board our ideas and used his unique talent to bring the project to a successful conclusion. The work was completed and delivered punctually. I can thoroughly recommend his service. More...

Q&As

Once the brief is defined, normally the process begins with generating ideas. As a rule my clients are not privy to this stage of the process, as the ideas are still in phoetal stage of development.

I then select the idea from those generated that I feel best approaches the requirements outlined in the brief, to develop and expand further in to a more comprehensive solution to the brief. At this point I will submit the design to the client as a first proposal. The client will now have the opportunity to respond with feed back, and the process will continue as per the requirements of the brief.

I intend to be as flexible as possible throughout the creative process, avoiding, if possible, strong inclinations towards ideas before exploration of alternatives. The overall process is about broadening horizons, and being open minded to possibilities, refining the ideas that have potential and eliminating the ideas that don't.

Minimum essential information will include the following:

• What products/services you offer?
• What do your products/services cost (high/medium/low price point)?
• How do you intend to promote your product and to whom?
• Where do you intend to place your product?

As a designer I am passionate about working with innovative and ambitious enterprises. I love understanding what makes them unique and valuable to their customers. I love feeding off of their passion for what they do and sell and helping them to harness that knowledge and passion in a creative way to realise more perceived value through branding.

I was inspired to strike out on my own by a desire to put my own design philosophy to the test, and develop my own methods of practice. By working for myself I am able to follow a personable approach to investigating and handling briefs.

Services

I design professional logos that communicate your brand personality.
Throughout the process of designing the logo I work with my clients to advice on conceptual aspects, such as how the design represents the brand, as well as practical applications.
