Lyndsi is one of the best nail technicians I've had in my life. I am extremely particular about who does my nails because in short- I don't want to get hurt. I go for quality over quantity. I would rather pay $40/50 for a mani that lasts long then $10 for a mani and get burned by a file or drill etc. (but this is my preference)...I go long term with nail technicians until they move or stop working etc. I found Lyndsi on yelp! Great cozy and relaxing spot for one or two people to get their nails done by a real nail tech. I received a spa pedicure and it was amazing. Costs a little more money compared to other local nail shops however she is worth every penny. She provided mimosas for my mother and it was a great surprise for her. Lyndsi is amazing! I have tried out several different nail salons in the San Diego area and I would often leave disappointed with the service, quality and price. I finally gave up on getting my nails done and then I was referred to Lyndsi. I absolutely love both her and her artistic abilities! Wow! What an incredible experience. I learned so much about nail care, nail products , what causes damage , what doesn't, etc. From the moment Lyndsi first greeted me with a confident hand shake and a warm hello, environment and service were top notch. She truly knows her stuff and I could not love my gorgeous nails more. She applies it in such a way as elongate it's longevity = practical. Lyndsi does such a stellar job with my gel nails. She is knowledgeable about the products she uses and the prices are so affordable. I love that I can text her to set up an appointment within a few days of needing any service. If something isn't right or somehow the paint gets chipped, she fixes it right away (completely hassle free!!). I seriously can't say enough good things about Lyndsi. Let's just start with the fact that my regular nail place went out of business right after I bought two gift certificates for my daughter for a gift. I posted something on the yelp account of my old place asking if any of their old employees went elsewhere and were willing to give me a discount. No response. Lyndsi did not work on my old place but saw my post and reached out to me to say that she would HONOR my gift certificates. I was blown away that she honored the gift certificates at full price rather than just give me a discount, especially since she had nothing to do with making any money off of them in the first place. Had some time on my 2 hour lunch break so I googled nail salons in Point Loma and read all the great and amazing reviews so I decided to check her out for myself. I absolutely loved my experience in her salon, I loved Lyndsi and I loved how my gel manicure came out. I'm used to the typical salon run by women who speak their native language and don't speak to you at all but with Lydia she explains what she's doing and why, talks to you and makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. Loved my experience in her salon. She made me feel welcome and comfortable. And unlike most nail technicians she actually talked to me and was very friendly. She explained what she was doing and why every step and my gel manicure came out absolutely beautiful. And might I add, for those of us who don't know what color we want, she lets you pick a few colors and try them on so you can see if you like the color. Lyndsi is the best! Always keeping my claws on point. Like, literally. She's helped me grow long, strong natural nails. Despite my love of gel polish my nails are still beautiful even when she removes it! She always gets creative with fun nail art and offers many add on services. I love how soft my hands and feet feel after a dip in her wax. She's also an expert at mixing up essential oil potions for your needs wether it be a little stress relief or a drop to help you prevent that on coming cold. Let me just start off by saying she is freaking amazing! She can pretty much do any nail art. I'm extremely picky but in the last year I've gone to her I've never left less than stoked. Love this place and yes I am a man! Lol I still occasionally like to not scare people with my hands and feet. Whether you are a professional woman or man and need to have your hands, cuticles and nails looking good for work or you are young and fun and want a hand painted nail design specified just for you! Well Lyndsi is your gal! She makes a man feel relaxed in her reclining chair and private room. Which I appreciate since I already feel awkward getting my hands and feet done where mostly women usually roam but, even her scrubs and lotions are lightly scented and not so girly it sends me out still feeling like a man! I know she guarantees her gel manicures and all pedicures for the whole week with free repairs but I have a feeling her nails last well past the week point! Lyndsi is the most conscientious nail tech I've ever encountered. She is so thoughtful about her work, and it really shows. She really takes the time to make sure you're getting the manicure / pedicure that you want. She asks how long you want your nails before trimming them and asks you to check them when she's done to make sure you like the length. She asks how you want them shaped before filing them. And when she's done with the whole mani / pedi, she asks you to check them again and make sure you're happy with all of her work before you leave. Plus she guarantees her work for one week (even if you just chip the polish yourself). Lyndsi delivers really fantastic customer service. I can't imagine going to anyone else.My style is pretty simple so I usually just get a natural color on my fingers and a French pedi. Even with something that basic, Lyndsi still dials in to your preferences. She always asks how thick I want the white part of the French, and how I want it shaped (curved, or more straight across). I am always in awe of her ability to so deftly swipe on the polish and make it look as perfect as if it were stenciled on - but she does it all by hand.I loved her patio at the Hidden Spa a bit more than the new digs at Inner Balance, but her service is absolutely unparalleled - it's worth the venue change. Lyndsi is an amazing nail artist. She will work with you to make any cool designs come to life and they always turn out really cute. I brought her a picture I saw on Pinterest and a picture of the dress I was wearing to a wedding, and she was able to copy the design with the exact colors to match my dress! Her nails are always great quality and she takes the time to make sure you are happy with them. Lyndsi even guarantees her gels for a week so if they get chipped or anything she will fix them for you for free! But her nails last for much longer than that. They usually hold up really well for the first three weeks or so. The room where Lyndsi works is adorable and so cozy. You sit in a huge comfy chair with pillows and she will give you a nice warm heating pad for your shoulders. It is very relaxing there and you feel very pampered. I would expect a place this nice with such great service to be really pricey but I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable she is. A good nail tech is hard to come by nowadays, luckily, there's Lyndsi. She'll polish you and give you designs and when you leave your nails will look like they're fresh off of pinterest every time. Located in the Inner Balance center, her cosy room is an oasis in itself. With a big comfy chair, warming neck wraps and paraffin dips, you'll be in heaven once you get there and from personal experience it'll be hard for you to leave. She has a one week guarantee with all of her gel applications and it's not as needed as you would think it'd be. Ive had gel applications last for well over 3 weeks with Lyndsi's application vs. just over a week with other places. Lyndsi is THE best. I was lucky enough to find her at a spa close to my house a couple years ago.  Since then, she has opened her own spot and I drive to PB to see her specifically. Her services are amazing, of course, but she is so fun to talk to. She makes me feel like I'm coming over to her house to hang out. Lyndi does such an amazing job on your nails! If you want a cute design, she can do pretty much anything you want and make it look great. The room where you get your nails done is so relaxing with a big cozy chair and a nice warm pad for your shoulders. She even guarantees her gel nails for a week in case they chip at all. But if you take good care of them, they will continue looking good for about 3 weeks or so. I am always so happy with the service I receive and happy to have my nails looking so cute! I have never been that big on getting my nails done, partly because it's often so pricey. Being from San Diego I have tried more then enough places to know this is by far my favorite nail place. It is a nice one on one relaxing environment so you don't have to deal with any other people in a typical salon. With Lyndsi I have been getting gel/shellac (depending on the colors I want) nail art manicure. I'm constantly rough on my hands so regular polish is out of the question. The manicure she gives me will last me up to 3 weeks!! Amazing!! The best part is, if I get a chip or something happens to one of my nails with in the first week Lyndsi will fix them free of charge =) She also makes sure that you are completely satisfy about each individual nail art. And if you don't like it she'll redo it to your liking. Now 2 months ago I got my first gel pedicure from her and it has last me until now only because it's grown out!! The whole pedicure experience was one I've never had before. You fully recline back in a comfy recliner with and shoulder warmer pillow as she is doing your toes. Not once did I have to adjust myself because I was reclined. She has her system of how she does her pedicure. THE most relaxing pampering pedicure I've ever had in my life. Truely amazing!! I cannot say enough good things about Lyndsi! Her work is high quality to say the least! She offers a one week guarantee on all her gel, but from personal experience her gel lasts weeks! Way longer than other places I've been to! She offers many different designs, bring in a picture and she'll copy it to a T! She does awesome glitter ombré and foil designs as well. Not just on your hands, but on your toes too. She doesn't up charge either which is one of the best parts!
