I first met John Segal in1990 to help me purchase my first flat (24 years ago!) and ever since then, he has been consistently outstanding in sorting out the purchase and sale of 4 different properties for me, over the years. I have always felt "in safe hands" with John, and one of the biggest compliments I can share is that, when I was buying my current home, the seller who was doing her own conveyancing with a solicitor friend said, if she hadn't had that arrangement, she would definitely have wanted to hire John! When my personal relationship broke down with complex and emotionally charged issues of sorting out property and money, I went to Lyndales. And, was introduced by John to Ashley Lacome-Shaw, a very impressive gentleman. And, during the struggle for a fair and just outcome I was given extraordinary understanding, support and attention to detail. Ashley hoped that I could avoid litigation and did everything possible to avoid it but circumstances were such that it couldn't be avoided. Despite fair offers being made (very accurate and close to the final settlement figure 3 years on!), I had to go to litigation.For the litigation I worked with Stuart Merrison, who was true to Lyndales, simply superb. A very calm and cool head and I feel "stuck his head above the parapet" for me when faced with exceptionally challenging negotiations, to protect my interests. The barristers the firm hired for me were also excellent. Particularly Lina who was briefed so well, and grasped the core issues brilliantly, the tower of files on my Case were distilled into a "no nonsense" couple of pages!The entire process to disengage myself from a belicose ex partner, took a total of 5 years. A terrible expense. A terrible ordeal. However, due to the fact that I was guided, advised and supported by a genuinely kind and exceptional team of solicitors, the outcome was legally fair and my personal journey has been more positive than negative.At all times, I was made to feel like Lyndales only client (!), when of course I wasn't. I cannot rate highly enough, nor thank Lyndales enough for being sincere in their professional and humane intention and goals for their clients (read their mission statements. They are genuine). You have been incredibly dynamic and reliable. Thank you John, Ashley and Stuart for literally helping me to get my life back on track!!! More...
