I used Lydd Golf Course as a setting for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and the overall experince was amazing. We used Jaime to help plan and organize the party. She took everything we threw at her in her stride. I am based in London so getting to the venue on a regular basis wasn’t possible but Jaime would assist in everyway possible. From chasing guests, arranging disco and sorting out the food. Overall I can’t thank the guys at Lydd Golf Course enough for helping to arrange such a memorable night for my parents. Really impress with Lydd. We got there early and had breakfast. Food was spot on and staff were friendly. Course is great, very challenging and is clearly well maintained. We booked our wedding with Lydd Gold Club and got a fantastic package. From the start they were helpful, kind, passionate and very accommodating. Nothing was ever an issue and they bent over backwards to ensure the special day ran as smoothly as it could. Jaime and the team made our wedding day absolutely amazing. Everything was so organised we literally had no stress. The venue was truly amazing, the staff were all very helpful and polite and the food was excellent. Lydd golf course is a really nice place to play. The course is kept to a decent standard and offers a fair challenge. It's often breezy to windy due to it's location, which is a big part of is charm. There's a decent amount of water and in places the rough can be quite thick. You can get a beer and some food and a game of golf for very reasonable prices. I'd read some reviews that were highly critical of this course before I came so was not expecting great things.I have to say that without question this course is good value for money and a good test of golf. I would imagine few mid to high handicappers will play to their handicaps around here. We played off the White tees and I didn't! It's long and tight in places. Water hazards line fairways. The holes are all well set out - you can see what is required from the tee and there are no blind shots.The greens were very good and a consistent pace.My only criticism is the state of the bunkers. There are far too many I imagine to maintain consistently well. Far better to fill in many of them that are sprouting weeds and concentrating on those that are likely to come in to play.All in all an enjoyable round in really pleasant surroundings.Thanks More...

Good test of golf , some easy holes but others you will find more of a challenge , not a true links as such as it’s inland but mostly flat , usually in very good condition, nice club house and pro shop, excellent value for money

We used the venue for a 40th birthday party and it was excellent Tom who handles the party bookings was really helpful the buffet they supplied was great and the bar staff on the evening were friendly and kept the drinks flowing very nicely we had approximately 120-140 people and that was a comfortable amount I would definitely recommend these guys for parties and events

We had our reception here on 7th July and I could not fault it one bit. Tom was fantastic from booking right through to the day and honestly could not have been any more helpful!
