I never normally review anything but after such an incredible service from start to finish I thought it important to spread the word about this fantastic company. From quoting same day to discussing options nothing was too much trouble. We were nervous as we hadn’t had a personal recommend and its an investment but the new parquet floor is absolutely perfect, it’s almost too perfect so the rest of the house now needs to be renovated to match. Having decided to replace my hall floor I researched all the flooring companies in my part of north west london. Based on their websites and telephone calls to them to ask for some entry level information I selected 6 to visit to look at their products and hear more about their services. I was quite surprised to find such a variation in the quality of flooring available and the price point - but particularly in the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff I met in the various retail outlets.
Taking these three criteria into account, there was one company that stood head and shoulders above the rest and that was Luxury Wood Flooring. They had a fantastic range of woods, could make anything at all I liked as a high end, bespoke but competitively priced product and nothing was too much trouble. I dealt with a guy called Kin and he had some great ideas, listened carefully to my brief, got many different ranges down off the showroom wall to show me and suggested clever ideas regarding tricky areas of my hall.
Ordering was quick and efficient and the company pulled out all the stops to get my flooring delivered more quickly than they usually turn deliveries around, as I had a particular deadline to meet. I had on site visits from both Kin and the proprietor of the business, Steven and it was clear I was dealing with people who are both knowledgeable and passionate about beautiful wood and about customer service. They also offer a floor laying service which sounded fantastic but I had my own carpenter.
Well worth all the desk research up front to find the right company. A ten out of ten, gold star experience.
