We chose LUX photography for our 7 month old daughters pictures - it was the best decision we could have made. Ellie was so lovely to work with and knew exactly what shots to take and when - which is difficult when you have a child who is constantly on the move! She’s a mobile photographer so it does make things a lot easier. It was nice to be in the comfort of your own home and it definitely made a difference to how relaxed our daughter was as well. I can’t recommend LUX photography enough - very professional and prompt - and Ellie makes you feel very comfortable. I cannot thank Ellie enough. I contacted Ellie once my daughter was a week old, worried I had left it too late to have some new born photos. Ellie was able to fit me in the following week and reassured me that new born pics can be taken upto 6 weeks old.As soon as I met Ellie it felt like we had known her for years. She was so easy to get along with and was brilliant with my five year old son who she was able to make laugh which helped to get such a natural smile on the photos.Ellie was brilliant with my daughter. She was able to capture some amazing new born photos and I knew as soon as she was taking the photos that I would need to buy all pics as there would be too much choice.The shoot was brilliant, Ellie made sure my daughter was warm enough and allowed time for feeding. She was so patient which allowed us to capture some great images. I was so excited to receive the images and could not believe how amazing they were. It made us fall in love with our children all over again. The poses, outfits and style were just what I wanted and I will treasure these pictures forever. A day to remember!We had a newborn shoot with Lux when our baby girl was 17 days old.The studio is warm, welcoming and homely, a real treasure trove. The colour palette of all the accessories and props is beautiful, sophisticated and delicate. Ellie was amazing with our baby and much better than me at getting her settled ready to position. I would recommend this experience to anyone, so wish we had been in the position to do it with our first two babies. All of the photos are stunning, we still can't decide which ones we will be having printed. I suggest you attend in cool clothes or layers you can take off, the room has to be kept warm enough for a naked baby. Would make an ideal gift rather than the endless clothes and teddies new babies get! More...
