I have 2 puppies who are scared of their shadow! Thank you Pam for helping us work with fear so that they can be happy, healthy pups! They love their teacher and she does a great job of giving us resources to help these two. Its nice to be able to email the trainer and get help during the week between lessons when you sometimes feel lost doing the homework. Above and beyond group classes and general training. Pam helped my 1 year old large dog, Illya, and I with his barking and counter surfing problems. She was able to find strategies that worked for him and was very helpful when we ran into new problems. He is a very vocal and talkative dog who use to steal anything he could reach. He now knows commands "out of the kitchen" and "speak/quiet" among others. Pam worked with us and our dachshund puppy, Beau, for over 7 weeks straight with great success! When we first reached out to Pam for her assistance Beau was quite a mess!
ha. He didn't listen to any of our commands/requests/demands and would bark like crazy anytime he saw another person or dog. Clearly, he wasn't socialized very well while he was a puppy, which was our fault! Pam was able to work with him, and us, to teach him several basic commands which he knows executes perfectly! He is also much more calm around other people and dogs. Since Beau is more well-behaved now our enjoyment of having him around has increased substantially. We aren't always worried about our "misbehaving" puppy!
Pam was knowledgeable, kind, and energetic. She exudes a certain energy that dogs are drawn to. She has an excellent ability to get through to dogs and show you the owner how to practice with them during the week. Overall, this has been a fantastic experience and I highly recommend anyone who is having issues with their young pup or older dog seek Pam's services!! You'll be happy you did!
