What makes a great website?
A great website represents you. The only real way to separate you from the crowd is to be as unique as you are. Don't clutter it, keep the message clear.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
You may already have some of your own ideas, so let's start there. What other designs do you like and why? What do you feel your "edge" is? If you were to sum up the core of who you are as a brand or client, what would it be?
Describe your creative process.
In terms of design work, we would determine if you already have an existing presence, and try to keep your "brand look" identifiable. In the case of a website, we would gather all the information you have, then decide what is relevant. From there we would plot out the users journey or user experience, and guide them in their thought process to achieve the highest return on your investment.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Again I think a good place to start would be with the ideas that you already have. This is your dream, and we are facilitators of making that dream a reality. In practical terms, I would want to know what has been done before, so we can stay consistent. Or you would need to let me know if you want to go in an entirely different direction. I would need to have samples of sites, that you believe, work for what you want to achieve. I would need any relevant information that you have gathered or written. I would need photographs of the products (if products are what you want to sell). I would need to know if you already have a domain and hosting or if we would need to provide that to you.
What do you love most about your job?
Hard to say, because we work in everything from graphic design to video production and animation. If I had to choose one thing, I think it would be the variety, no two projects are the same, no two clients are the same. So every day is different, new and exciting.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I would say, the opportunity to have a flexible time schedule. Sometimes inspiration strikes at the most peculiar time, and it's great to be able to react to it, rather than have to wait for a new day to begin.
Why should our clients choose you?
In terms of experience, I think I'm probably unmatched amongst other candidates. I've worked in every medium, developed games, websites, apps, written and produced for television and major corporate companies. My portfolio is extensive, I'm fun to work with and I always deliver the best. That's why 90% of my work, comes through referrals.
