Really nice southern restaurant selling all sorts of things from Fried Chicken to Meatloaf. The service was prompt and the food tasted good. They also have a beer garden where you can play games while you wait for your table. More...

Really great variety of appetizers and dishes for all tastes and dietary needs. Full bar is available and the cocktails are imaginative. Had the fried oysters and soft shell crab sandwich both were excellent. The bun on the soft shell crab struggled to hold together with all the moisture But ultimately did the job. The pecan pie was a bit disappointing as it was dry and the pecans did not feel cooked More...

My wife and I went for lunch and had an outstanding meal. Everything was wonderful. Had the crab dip and pulled BBQ sandwich. We ate on the deck and enjoyed the flower and veggie garden along with the smoker. We loved it. We will be back. Service was equally excellent. Highly recommend. More...

New favorite brunch spot! The service and hospitality was impeccable. The quality of food couldn't of been better. My boyfriend and I stumbled in this place on a Sunday morning and had the best pulled pork and sausage gravy ever. We will definitely be back!!

By far and away my favorite restaurant in Richmond. Unbelievably good food in a laid back atmosphere. Southern comfort food with a sophisticated twist, but not overpriced. And I love the atmosphere of both Lunch and Supper. Each offers a cozy dining room with its it's own personality. The loaded chicken is my favorite, and it really is loaded with cheese and pulled pork! If you're in the neighborhood, this is definitely the place to be. More...

I wish I was taking some pictures so I can show you guys. But this is really a cool concept and it's down in the Scott's addition. If you want to make a great date night for someone. The place was kind of small but it was two different sides which was unique lunch and supper. It had a back area that you can play games and maybe have a few drinks Outdoors which was nice but, we did not find that out until later when we had to wait for 1 1/12 hours to be seated. It had a down home country field to the place. The food was decent my kids wasn't really that full which I was kind of shocked. I can say is a nice place to go with family for Sunday brunch More...

Lunch/Supper has some of the best fried chicken I have had since my mother used to make it from scratch at home. Absolutely delicious. Every meal I've had here has been amazing. The mac and cheese and fried oysters are also incredible. Come for brunch on weekends (I suggest the chicken and waffles or the train wreck) or lunch/dinner (I suggest the pickled and fried sandwich) and get ready to salivate as you can't wait to come back again. Bar service is very friendly and timely and the mimosas are great. My only complaint: the hosts/hostesses should be a little more forthcoming and informative about the differences between the two buildings when they're serving different menus. We have waited ~20 minutes for a table only to be told that that side was not serving brunch, but the other side was, so back to the waiting cue we went. So, just ask. More...

Really good food. Acceptable but slower than average service. They messed up one of our orders (party of 6) but made it right with a very quick replacement to the correct order plus left the incorrect, cheaper item on the bill as a courtesy. Overall will definitely be back for dinner (we had brunch). Wait on a Sunday around 1 was quoted as 1.5-2 hrs but ended up being only 35 min. Very cool venue with a great vibe! More...

Always a great place for a special dinner when you want great comfort food and a cozy atmosphere. Low ceilings lends to make it a little loud, but you can overlook that for the excellent food. Absolutely incredible experience and meal! My boyfriend and I were down from DC, and we'll definitely make a trip down just to eat here again. The host stand is awkward and crowded, but it is a small venue. We were told it would be an hour wait, but we ended up waiting only a half hour. Wait time was expected and reasonable for a Saturday night. We played corn hole outside while we waited. Great atmosphere and great selections on the menu. We got the short ribs for an appetizer. Highly recommend it!!! My boyfriend had the Herd. I had the full house salad and the soup of day. Everything tasted great and the service was incredible. Go here- it's worth the wait! More...

The atmosphere is cozy, if a bit cramped when it's busy (which is often). But that just goes to show how good this place is. Every food dish I've had has been really good. Fair pricing on everything. The beer selection is solid but the food is the real draw. There are two "sides" of the same place. Each serves nearly identical menu items, but the beer list is more extensive on the "supper" side of the bar. Definitely worth making a special trip to experience this place, or just swinging by after a day of bar hopping in Scott's Addition. More...

I went to visit this place after dropping off my dog at the Helping Hands Vet Hospital since we had just finished driving about 5 hours. Happy to say that this place is absolutely amazing, the portions are gigantic, and the taste of the food is second to none. I would suggest getting there early if you can, around when they open, otherwise waits can start stacking up, and you could be waiting up to 30-45 minutes. It is a small restaurant but it's definitely worth the wait! We were lucky enough to just go-in and sit down, but if you're not so lucky, I'd recommend waiting! My significant other loved her chicken and waffles, especially the gravy! She asked for more gravy since it was so great and they provided her with a bowl of it! Customer service and an emphasis on customer satisfaction definitely adds to why this place is a no-brainer if you're considering eating here. You seriously can't go wrong with anything you order here, as the reviews on this restaurant clearly shows. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone, and if I'm ever in the state again, will definitely visit again!
