Wonderful florist. My sweet husband sends me beautiful arrangements and has used Lulu on a couple occasions, compared to the other florists in the area- they are the best. Their flowers are always fresh, beautiful and last so long. I've used them myself on several occasions including (unfortunately) a funeral where we sent an arrangement. Our family has been going to Lulu's for many years. We chose them to do our wedding flowers last year, and they were gorgeous, fresh, colorful, and even better than what I pictured. Last week I asked them to deliver flowers to my husband's office for his birthday, and I didn't even have to specify what flowers....I just asked for colorful, nothing with a strong smell, and a balloon. Absolutely amazing experience from beginning to end at LuLu Florist!!!After having a remarkably poor experience with another local Bethesda Florist this past Thursday May 10, 2018 (by none other than one of the owners) I happened upon LuLu Florist just down the road.  After further searching for local shops and and reading about LuLu Florist, I placed a quick phone call to inquire if they might be able to assist with a very simple (last minute) Mother's Day arrangement for my boss's mother.  The gentleman on the phone was kind and welcoming, and said I should certainly come on by, he would be happy to help figure something out.  Jim, the gentleman I spoke with via phone, greeted me in his shop moments later, helping me to decide on an elegant arrangement, in a modern style cube vase, as I had hoped for.  Jim is efficient, considerate and caring; I was in and out in less than 10mins.  He accommodated my price max and the arrangement was ready for pickup the following day, on Friday (just in time for Mother's Day Weekend.)  THANK YOU Jim and THANK YOU to your wonderful team of florists whom provided exceptional customer service and accommodated my simple (albeit last minute request) with a stellar custom flower arrangement.  Despite being on the cusp of Mother's Day Weekend, LuLu Florist graciously created this beautiful floral arrangement.  My enlightenment as it relates to local florists in Bethesda: LuLu Florist is THE FLORIST to visit for any and all floral needs (small, large, last minute or advance.)  Looking forward to placing all of our future floral orders with LuLu's for both personal and business needs alike. The flower arrangement that Lulu made for my daughter's 24th birthday was the most spectacular that she received!! Teresa was extremely helpful on the phone and the flowers arrived as requested (before 12) noon on her birthday. I ordered a birthday bouquet for my wife.They did a great job in every aspect!Pros:1. Delivery was super fast (a few hours after I ordered)2. My family ordered 10 sprays of flowers. A friend ordered 14 orchids. All different arrangements, with our names written on them and gigantic one. They delivered for us in 5 days. The customer service from LuLu's is incredible. After selecting LuLu's based on a quick google search for a florist near Walter Reed, I ordered online with LuLu Florist not expecting anything after clicking submit payment. To my surprise, they gave me a call to discuss the order, and delivery instructions. They assured me they would figure out the logistics of the hospital as I was unable to give them specifics of which building.  I got a call about an hour later again from LuLu's not only confirming the delivery, but a personal update on the patient. I was overwhelmed, especially since it was good news!  I do not know the name of the man who delivered the flowers, but this was the best customer service I have EVER received.  I can't say enough good things, and I hope LuLu reads this and knows how grateful I am for that confirmation phone call which turned my day around! I've had several flower delivers over the past few years from LuLu's, and they've always done a fantastic job. The flowers have always arrived when expected, the arrangements are beautiful, and the delivery people have always been friendly. They also have called and left me a message to let me know the flowers were delivered and where they left them, which was nice given that I live in an apartment building and don't always get package notifications. I could not be more pleased than with this shop! And I am a tough customer always looking for perfection. I asked for a dozen long stemmed pink roses in a box and if I could have the vase wrapped separately. No problem! Can you take a picture and email to me? No problem! They looked so gorgeous. Layed out so neatly in a white box and a big pink bow on top. I was so thrilled. Security wouldn't let them in at NRC so they called my daughter to arrange delivery to her home! I've used this florist on two occasions.  Both times, I was genuinely impressed with the timeliness of the delivery, their communication and attention to detail.  LuLu takes the additional steps of confirming the order directly, and then confirming each delivery.  All in all, their service is very much at a personal level and definitely appreciated.This most recent time, I wanted to include an extra gift to mark an anniversary.  LuLu Florist was most accommodating and accepted the gift delivery in order to include it with their flower delivery.  It worked perfectly, so the recipient got the gift and flowers together.  This is an extra level of service that wasn't expected and shows just how much they are willing to go above and beyond.  It definitely makes me a satisfied (and impressed) customer.Outstanding! With one day's notice, Lulu Florist delivered in a big way!!The incredible new PassionFish Bethesda restaurant had a pre-opening party on September 12 and I wanted to send a beautiful arrangement to them. I was the happy recipient of a lovely birthday bouquet .  The delivery person phoned me to tell me the arrangement had been set by the front door -- I was actually home but didn't hear the knock as I usually have earphones in.  I appreciated this extra degree of care offered by the delivery person.  The flowers were fresh and beautifully arranged and have lasted a long time.  I wouldn't hesitate to order from this florist or recommend them as it's clear they go the extra mile to put a smile on a customer's face. My daughter ordered a hydrangea for my 60th birthday and because of a computer glitch Lulu Florist didn't get the order till one week later. They called me several times to correct the situation but I was away and didn't pick up the messages till this weekend. They said that not only did they want to deliver the hydrangea but also a mother's day bouquet -- gratis. Within one hour there came a knock on my door and a lovely gentleman sang happy birthday and presented me with a most robust and beautiful pink hydrangea, and a huge floral bouquet filled with lilies, roses, tulips, daffodils, hydrangea, chrysanthemum, and snapdragons. Yes. It was that big. I expected a token bouquet but it far exceeded my expectations both in the delivery, the presentation, the size, and the freshness and beauty of the flowers themselves. Thank you Lulu, for helping me relive my birthday and for ushering in mothers day in elegant style. I'm such a huge fan of Lulu's. We had a great experience when they did our wedding flowers. We had a consultation with Liz, who asked great questions and listened to our vision for our wedding. We received a written quote that was within our budget. We had scavenged rustic antique bottles from various places, and she really liked the idea. We delivered the bottles a week before the wedding, and the arrangements they did far exceeded our expectations. They were all unique and beautiful, and the flowers were very fresh. The bouquets and boutonnieres were also gorgeous. Our colors were lavender, green and cream, and the variety of flowers they used all coordinated perfectly. We could not have asked for a better florist, and I highly recommend them. My recent purchase of a birthday arrangement for my husband arrived less than two hours after I called to order them, and I received a call from Lulu letting me know that they had been delivered. The arrangement was beautiful, and again, much more than I would have gotten anywhere else. We have gotten great service and beautiful flowers from Lulu, and won't use anyone else. More...

I called Lulu Florist with a specific request for a buffet table centerpiece for a party in my home. I picked up the arrangement from their shop, and they had it carefully packed for safe transport in my car. They created a stunning arrangement with orchids, roses, and hydrangeas, and kept it within my budget. The tall glass vase was lined with large, tropical leaves for an elegant effect. Some of our guests commented on the beautiful flowers, and asked which florist I used. I have been careful to keep the water level topped off, and more than a week later, most of the flowers are holding up and still look good enough to display. Lulu Florist did an amazing job for the flowers for my mother's funeral.  Apparently, if you are Chinese, Lulu is the ONLY game in town for producing beautiful flowers with Chinese ribbons and arrangements suitable for Chinese customs.  The floral arrangements were incredibly beautiful and they can do extremely large arrangements, wreaths, and spreads, in addition to regular bouquets.  I don't know the pricing, but the care and arrangement they did was amazing. 10 stars. We used Lulu for our wedding. What little interaction I had with the staff was very pleasant. They do everything a florist traditionally does, events, weddings, arrangements, special occasions, funerals etc. The shop also has last minute gift items. Walked in on Valentine's Day and immediately drowned in a wave of cynicism... because everything was so damned pretty.Bah humbug. But really: clean and well-lit shop tucked into the business strip on the corner of Woodmont and St Elmo. The fact that my allergies didn't explode my face on first pass is a good thing. Super friendly service despite the definite bustle of the holiday, lots of fresh flowers arranged in buckets inside and out. Walked into the store on a Friday afternoon looking to buy a dozen roses for an anniversary gift. I was quickly asked what I wanted, and within a few minutes they had given me 12 huge red roses (each flower about the size of a tennis ball). I had never bought a nice bouquet at a place besides a grocery store before, so I wasn't sure what it would cost, but the flowers were definitely worth the price. I received compliments from people I walked by on the street on the way home (as well as one man pushing a stroller telling his little girl that "That was how you got here" and pointing at the roses).
