About

Hi, my name is Luke, I live in south-east London with my wife Sinéad, our little girl Niamh and our baby boy Jack. I've been a wedding and portrait photographer for 7 years and I travel between the UK and Ireland and beyond capturing those moments that make up that most special of days.

Luke did a family photoshoot for us last year with our then 6 month old baby. As you can imagine it is hard work to get a 6 month old to participate, but Luke was great with him. His calm, charming manner makes it a joy to work with him and his obvious excitement when we were getting good photo's was contagious. Best of all - we have some lovely photo's of us and our little boy. Definitely recommended! More...

Luke took the most amazing shots of our wedding in 2012. He is a lovely guy, easy going and fun, and had some really great suggestions for photos, which turned out to be some our favourite shots of our day. Thanks Luke!!

Q&As

You have to have an eye for it. Anyone can own a camera, but without that natural ability to see a moment before it happens your photos will never stand out from the crowd. You have to be there for the right moment, and be sharp and focused so that the moment doesn't pass you by.

I ask them what they want, how they would like to see themselves represented in their photos. I also ask them about themselves, chat for a while to get to know them a little. This is very important to me, as it gives me a feel for what the client is like as a person.

I love the interaction with people when they are relaxed around you and feel comfortable with you, you see the best side of them and you can capture it.

I have always loved photography, but it started when I bought myself a decent camera and took it to a friends wedding. I realised that I really enjoyed capturing the joy and fun in a photo shoot, whether at a wedding or in a studio, and this was something I really wanted to do.

Because with me they're not just getting a service, they're getting a personal touch to their photography. I make the client comfortable and allow them to express themselves as they want to. I am easy going and relaxed, this allows the client to be the same so that they get the most out of their time with me.
