Me and my girlfriend went on my birthday for dinner and we had a fantastic experience! Our server, Mary, was such a delightful host. She was very welcoming and made great recommendations. She is the kind of server that you always hope to get. The manager, Tim, came and greeted us and made sure we were having a great time. His level of care and attention he showed us was very appreciated. He even payed for our meal out of his own pocket out of sheer generosity. Great service, food and price! I was meeting business friends for dinner and networking. I'm from Murfreesboro and the past 3 or 4 times I have visited an independent restaurant in Brentwood, I am usually let down by the hospitality of the wait staff, so I was not looking forward to it. The wait staff at Ludlow & Prime was professional and WELCOMING. The food was delicious. We had an abbreviated menu and I noticed the cheeseburger was only $7! It was a medium size burger, but really good. They allowed me to trade out the fries for brussel sprouts. They were amazing! Yes, brussel sprouts were amazing. This place was top notch. I was here on a business trip and our first choice spot could not accommodate us. Someone in our group found Ludlow and Prime and we came here instead. I had crawfish hushpuppies and the catfish with other seafood on top. Sorry, can't think of what exactly they called it, but it was INCREDIBLE. I've not had catfish in years and this dish was perfect. Like another that was with us said, it did seem a little pricy for the portion size, but at least it was absolutely delicious!! First of all, we were able to get a large group in quickly when most places were on a 90-120 minute wait. We originally told them 14 in our party, they set up the table and when we got over there we realized there were 16 of us. They were incredibly accommodating, the service was excellent (especially Tori), and the food and drinks were on point. I’ve NEVER left a review before leaving an establishment but I have to brag on the superior service and experience we had at Ludlow and Prime. From the start the hostess was fantastic, inviting and informative, even though we were 10 minutes late to our reservation. We ordered Brussels and the wedge salad as starters and didn’t wait longer than 5-10 minutes for them to be brought out. The drinks (trophy wife and Catalyst) were absolutely phenomenal and were very particular on our cocktails. For dinner we ordered the chocolate bacon burger and mashed Yukon potatoes and the filet and red wine demi with the truffle Mac and cheese with bacon jam... Absolutely phenomenal.
