Lucy's Pet Care

I left my puppy basil in Lucy’s care whilst I attended a wedding in bury, I’m from Bournemouth and didn’t know any dog sitters in the area so was worried about how he’d get on as he’d never been left with strangers before. However Lucy’s professionalism, advice and attentive nature towards basil left me confident and happy he would receive excellent care. As expected he returned a very happy puppy after a lovely night away with Lucy and Tavi and looking a very smart boy after a good trim and groom. My 1.5yo husky x staffy rescue dog, Apollo, spent today with Lucy in preparation for our holiday in May. As he’s a rescue dog with LOTS of energy, we were nervous about leaving him in the care of somebody else, but it was clear from the outset that Lucy has amazing knowledge and experience in caring for dogs (and I’m sure the same goes for all other animals too! ). She took amazing care of Apollo and we especially loved the little updates and photos that Lucy shared throughout the day Apollo has come home a very happy, very tired dog! Lucy looked after our two cats Oscar and Fray, she was great with giving updates and posting photos. We returned to two happy kitties. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend. We were let down by someone to look after our cavalier king Charles whilst we went abroad. I was really nervous about leaving him. .He's a very shy dog and he's my baby! Lucy was amazing at capturing Bailey's routine.. She sent picture updates throughout the week. It put me at ease totally knowing he was having such a lovely time and looked so happy in all the pictures! When we picked up Bailey it was clear to see Lucy really does treat pets like her own.. and really got to know Bailey's personality. It is clear to see she is very knowledgeable, caring and enthusiastic as well as professional. I certainly will be using Lucy's services in the future. I went away on a weeks holiday and asked Lucy to come and feed my cat George whilst I was away. I don't like leaving her to go away (who does! ) But I need not have worried as Lucy took great care of her. She even sent me some pictures whilst I was away! It may not mean much to some people but to me it meant so much as I could see she was happy so I felt less guilty about leaving her. Lucy even took care of my plants whilst I was away and made sure they were watered. When I got home my kitchen was spotless as she had wiped it all down for me.
