After having been totally ripped off by a firm of surveyors. You guys were able to secure the planning consent, & building control approval for a fraction of the cost. You were always professional, helpful, responsive and courteous. More...

From my very first contact, my experience with the whole team at LPS created a sense of relief, I had finally found a company who were polite, proactive, helpful, and knowledgeable, most of all extremely good at what they do. I welcomed their honest approach to what is, the minefield of Planning in the UK. Simply put: If they make a promise, they fulfil it. No other company that I have ever dealt with in any aspect of life have always answered their phone, on the rare occasion that the call should go to answerphone, a follow up by phone or email swiftly followed, a small thing maybe, but welcomed and appreciated. Their extended hours of work/availability are a breath of fresh air too. On site visits and at meetings with other professionals, I found them to be straight talking and a joy to work with. I had wasted plenty of money and valuable time working with less than professional ‘experts’ who strung me along, no doubt with many other clients and in the end did not deliver, which is both frustrating and costly. If you are looking for a group of professionals who genuinely care about their clients and the service they so capably provide, I suggest having a conversation with LPS. I remain grateful for your service, professionalism and getting the result you set out to achieve.’ More...

The guys at LPS are amazing, so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I love that they used Virtual Reality to show us our new extension in real 3d, standing inside our extension before it was even built was amazing and allowed us to sign off on the design confidently. Planning & Building Regs approved, and the build is well on the way. Thanks Guys and Girls. More...

Q&As

The ability to convert a loft relies on the existing height from the top of the ceiling joist to the underside of the ridge. Ideally you need 2.2m-2.4m minimum height, this allows space for the insulation, steel beams and flooring that you need. If you do not have 2.4m height we may still be able to make it work, otherwise your only other option is to lower the ceiling heights on the first floor.
