First let me say, I spent 30 years in business marketing leadership before joining Nashville public schools to try to impact young people's lives. I have consulted over the years with numerous business owners on how to grow their business and increase their professionalism to stand above the competition. I saw DJ Chris several years ago as he was working for Hermitage Strike & Spare. I was so impressed by DJ Chris’ professionalism, outstanding personality and obvious brilliance, I asked for his information. This past Friday night, the Bellevue High School Alumni held their first homecoming game in 40 years, and I was responsible for helping make that event happen. Knowing the music from the past would play a great part in bringing back wonderful memories for the 1931 to 1980 Bellevue Alumni, I contacted DJ Chris to bring his talent to this long overdue high school football fall celebration. DJ Chris traveled a long distance to the event location the day before to review the venue, the set-up needs and to discuss our musical goals. The next day, he arrived well in advance to the homecoming game to get everything ready. Despite a downpour that began before the event started and lasted throughout the evening, DJ Chris made sure everyone in attendance had an amazing time. He really saved the night. His song preparation was spot-on, and his DJ commentary was brilliant.
