Brandon is a pleasure to work with. We did a family photo shoot during our annual family vacation. He was able to get great group shots of our five young kids plus seven adults as well as individual family groups during our session. When my twins were overwhelmed and hungry near the end of our session he captured some lovely images of me breastfeeding them. He is professional and the babies and I were totally at ease. Brandon was our wedding photographer in June 2019. After a lot of comparison in choosing who to shoot our wedding we ultimately chose Brandon because of his competitive package pricing and high quality portfolio of wedding photography. I had never had professional photography done so I was somewhat nervous. Brandon was so easy to work with. He is so personable and knowledgeable about his craft. And an all around fun person to hang out with! He took the time to get the perfect shots and I was thrilled with all of the photos! We had Brandon shoot our recent wedding on June 1st. I never had professional photography done so I was a bit nervous. But Brandon had such a calm and personable demeanor, that made it easy to relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera. You can tell he is very knowledgeable about his craft and puts a lot of thought into getting the best shot. Not to mention he is a lot of fun and made sure to capture fun and silly shots that we requested. By the end if the day he felt just like a good friend. Brandon has a great eye for capturing beautiful photos. Recently took family photos with him and he is very patient and understanding and wants to make the session as relaxed as possible. Even with a squirming 2 year old he was able to capture so many great images it becomes a hard choice of which are the best, because they are all so good! Brandon and I shot a boudoir session last week and it was marvelous! As a nude model, interacting with a photographer who makes me feel comfortable is very important to me. Brandon not only made me feel welcome but also very beautiful and physically artistic as he helped me create poses and settings. I recently had my head shots done by Brandon, and I have absolutely nothing but praise for the whole experience! Starting with scheduling, he is very responsive to messages and is flexible.
Communication with him is relaxed and professional. When it came to the actual shoot session, Brandon was on time and very friendly. Everything about him reads as relaxed and professional which immediately helped me feel relaxed too! As he was taking the photos, he would talk to me about what he was doing, gave very clear directions, and described what he was going for.
Before I talk about the images, I want to say that for me personally I've never liked having photos done because the result always reminded me of doing my senior photos all over again. Those photos always seemed so lacking in personality. The things I like about myself (my confidence, friendliness, playfulness) never stood out. That being said, I was completely blown away by the first sneak peek Brandon sent me! It just oozed of playfulness and confidence! And the second sneak peek was immediately decided that it would be my head shot. Super professional AND so much personality that the image is just beautiful. The absolute best part is that it LOOKS like ME. Looking at some of Brandon's previous work, its clear he not only has an artistic eye, but also the ability to capture qualities in his subjects that bring his images alive.
The entire experience is just amazing and I'm still in awe of the end results! Just, WOW! Absolutely, please consider Brandon of Lovejoy Images for your photography needs!
