Where do we start?! Dan was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to have with us on our special day! He captured our day exactly how we remember it (and even the beautiful moments we didnt see) all the smiles, the looks, the laughter, all the silly faces in & out of the photobooth and some tears. We can’t thank you enough for how much you put into our day and we are so happy with all of our beautiful photos. From start to finish it really feels like our story is captured and we couldn’t be happier and we were so grateful you captured some lovely moments of us with our much loved but excitable pooch! You didn’t stop making both Alex and I laugh and smile throughout and this was so important because as you know we were both not exactly used to being in front of the camera. You have have beautiful way of capturing the little moments, making people laugh and catching those real moments, real people doing real expressions. Every wedding Dan shoots amazes us and we love watching peoples stories unfold. We got married on 22nd June 2019 and received our photos yesterday. Wow! Dan surpassed all expectations we had. The photos are amazing and I cried so much going through them! Dan and Gemma did an amazing job of our wedding photography and it was wonderful to have them both present at our big day. They both made us feel so at ease and calmed the nerves we initially had when having our photos taken. He managed to get some amazing natural shots as Dan just blends into the whole day. Gemma did amazing at assisting him and also helped lace up my dress when we were having a nightmare trying to get it right (big thanks Gem). We got married yesterday at Eriviat Hall and we were lucky enough to have Dan and his lovely wife Gemma photograph the day. They worked together as a perfect team and instantly put us at ease with their calm and nothing is too much trouble attitude. With 7 bridesmaids and groomsmen a piece you would expect it to be a nightmare to get anything organised nevermind wrangling various family members for photos but it was as smooth as anything and this was purely down to their team work! This morning Dan sent us 50 preview shots of the wedding and just wow! We cannot wait to receive the rest of the shots I just know we will have an absolutely nightmare trying to narrow the pictures down to even the high hundreds! We could not have been more delighted with the service we received from booking, to receiving the 1000+ photos of our wedding day. On booking with Dan, we exchanged emails and he offered to meet for coffee to discuss our day and any specifics in detail, we didn’t do this, as we were getting married away from where we live and had no idea on the specifics at all, but we could tell from the start that Dan was super friendly and that we would get on well.Dan was so kind to Skype with us before our wedding which was really informative and put us at ease during final wedding preparations, which, as anybody who is planning a wedding knows, is priceless. Dan was fantastic at discussing the photos we wanted for our wedding and didn’t force us in to any traditional photo shoots, just the photos we wanted with our families. We wanted lots of photos taken outside and with our families, Dan was more than happy to oblige.Dan arrived promptly and looked smart and professional, he had loads of energy and it was clear he was willing to go above and beyond to get incredible, creative shots. We were very relaxed on our wedding day and Dan was really inobtrusive whilst still joining in with the crack and joking around with everybody, making us feel so comfortable. We could not be more delighted with the volume and quality of photos we have got of our wedding day – Dan seemed to be everywhere, capturing beautiful, natural photos of all of our favourite people enjoying themselves, whilst also capturing Sam and I getting ready, chatting with our families, friends, groomsmen/bridesmaids as well as the shots of us getting married, and afterwards as a newly married couple. He really is so talented.We opted to hire the photobooth for the evening reception which went down an absolute treat, we had a wedding guestbook next to the booth on recommendation from Dan and Gemma, we have got so many hilarious shots and touching messages in the guestbook as a great keepsake from an incredible day. Gemma too, was great fun, constantly smiling, great crack and had plenty of patience with us.Dan sent us some preliminary photos the day after our wedding and we were blown away, the thought and effort that had gone in to the shots was above and beyond what we could have imagined. This continued upon receiving all of the photos a few weeks later, we were given plenty of beautiful prints, an engraved memory stick with over 1000 photos from the day as well as all of the photos and GIFs from the photobooth (hilarious). We couldn’t recommend Dan enough, he was so friendly and chatty with everybody, he fit right in and everybody thought he was great, we felt like we had known him for ages, not to mention he has provided us with amazing, everlasting memories of the day. Dan accompanied myself and 14 women on a 48 hour charity challenge in Snowdonia to get photos of our achievements and the challenges we faced. He was an absolute professional from start to finish, he demonstrated sensitivity and compassion to the women on the trip, who were all survivors of a medial condition. Wow what can we say!! We booked Dan and Gem to do our wedding photography along with the photo booth, and what amazing pictures Dan captured. Both Dan and Gem make you feel so at ease in front of the camera, you hardly noticed they were there during the day!! Thanks to Gemma for doing the photo booth and putting up with all us drunken people We received all of our wedding pictures on a USB drive along with 35 prints which were presented lovely in a box. Well I don’t quite know where to start, Dan and Gemma did an amazing job on our wedding day! We have just received the pictures and they are AMAZING! ! The attention to detail, talent and passion they both have is incredible. We couldn't be happier that we booked them to capture our wedding day. We knew from the engagement shoot that we were going to have so much fun on the day and boy we did! They did a fantastic job of making us and our guests feel relaxed and this is shown in the photos. Dan and Gemma did an amazing job as photographers for our wedding in August 2018. We couldn't be happier that we booked them to capture our wedding day. The passion, attention to detail and love of photography is apparent from the moment they start working. On the day both Dan and Gemma worked incredibly hard and this has shown in the quality of the photos we received. They did a fantastic job of making us and our guests feel relaxed and this is shown in the photos. We asked for lots of natural shots throughout the day and we are not disappointed with these - we got lots of amazing photos of us and our guests enjoying the day when they didn't know a camera was pointed at them. Within a day of the wedding we received a taster selection of a handful of photos from the day, the rest followed a few weeks later. Really fast delivery time. So when getting married it's a always a bit of a risk asking friends to do something major like taking photos for you. All myself and Patrick can say is a massive THANK YOU to Dan and Gemma. They day went absolutely swimmingly and our final photos are nothing short of stunning!! We have gotten such a wide variety to choose from. The hotel getting ready, the liver building and coach, the ceremony itself to the epic photos of the walk to the beach and the beach itself everyone has a personal memory attached to it and we can't explain our gratitude enough. 5 � Dan and Gemma went above and beyond on our special day, putting myself and the whole bridal party at ease throughout the entire day. They were friendly, chatty, patient and extremely professional, all this clearly shows in all our pictures.
Our photos exceeded our expectations as with Dan's adventurous input they were far from the average traditional wedding photos. Preview shots were sent to us the next day and the rest were sent to us within a week which we found exceptional.

So, let's just start by saying we would give Dan (and Gemma) 6* plus if we could. Honestly, we couldn't of imagined a better wedding photographer! From first meeting to final pics we were blown away by the professionalism and friendliness that Dan offered (banter galore!) to the point where seats as named guests at our Wedding Breakfast seemed a obvious and normal thing to do.

With 4 children it was important to us that they felt comfortable in front of the camera and both Dan and Gemma took the time to bond with the children so that on the day our photos were natural and everyone was at ease. The end results are simply stunning and we couldn't be happier. Nothing was too much trouble and our ideas and thoughts for the day were very much considered and encouraged (trip from venue to beach, confetti drop, bouquet throw etc etc) We could go on and on but I think all we need to say is please don't even take time to consider, honestly, if you book Dan you won't be disappointed!

Well dan struthers is known as a bit of a legend in our area of north wales for his awsome photography. But today this gentleman has helped me beyound the call of duty. After posting on facebook a call for a little help off the general public or photographer's who wish to help me in my efforts in constructing my website for a north wales business. Mr struthers immediately contacted me offering full access to all his photography to use, at a rate which is beyond generous whereas other photographers contacted me asking for large sums of money. He said as I am a local business starting up, he wishes to help as much as possible. He also offered to come help me out and about to get get photos of activities I need. Dan and Gemma were absolutely brilliant for our wedding! We met Dan for an engagement shoot a few months beforehand and it was immediately clear that he is extremely fun and easy to get on with and takes some really amazing photos as well!
On the big day, Dan and Gemma both made us feel really relaxed and had a great balance between being laid back and yet getting exactly what we wanted too. They have a great eye for detail and the pictures speak for themselves. We're both very happy with the photos and thoroughly recommend Dan to anyone!

I am friends with Dan from our University days, but unbeknown to me my fiancé was really impressed with his work when looking through different photographers for our wedding, so when she showed me his photo's as they were her favourite, we realised we had to get him to do our wedding. And we weren't disappointed! The photo's have come out better than we could have imagined, with lots of thought going into the different areas we had them taken in.
