Plenty mahalos to Doug and his second photographer. E kala mai, I can't remember her name, but she was very sweet and helped Doug capture very tender moments of our wedding day. Doug was very professional from the moment I contacted him about investment. I was engaged for almost 2 years and spent a lot of time choosing a photographer. I received quotes from at least a dozen photographers and even met a bunch at one of the Wedding Cafe events. I was very picky and wanted to stick to a budget.I happened to find Doug's wedding photography company on Instagram and fell in love with the candid photos he took of couples. Doug's quality and attentiveness is comparable and, I argue, better than other wedding photography companies on Oahu that charge crazy amounts of $! I've had photographer friends compliment my wedding pictures according to the light setting he shot with and other techniques that I know nothing about. Lol. My husband told me Doug was super cool and very patient with him and his groomsmen. Doug even took some GQ grade photos of him lol. As for me, Doug made sure to bring a list of shots I wanted to capture. But, the best were shots he came up with himself! I must highlight how patient Doug was with us. My bridesmaids and I were running late with getting ready, but Doug and his second shooter made it happen and still managed to get important shots of us! Our photos turned out so beautiful. My husband and I don't consider ourselves very photogenic, but Doug captured our moment so beautifully and made us look like models. He is an artist! Doug, thank you so much for your help and patience. It's been such a pleasure to work with and you made this a wonderful experience. It can be very stressful planning a wedding from another state. We were so worried about booking a photographer for Hawaii from California, but your nicely written emails, the time you took to talk with us and your happy personality gave us confidence. Doug is one of those photographers that you feel like you are instantly friends with. His eye for detail and finding unique locations to shoot was completely on point and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the results. We take pictures every year on our anniversary and this year we were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary in Oahu. This could have been a very stressful experience trying to find a photographer across the ocean but it was the complete opposite. Doug arranged everything even helping me find a local hair and makeup artist! The pictures we recieved were beyond beautiful and yours will be too! He isn't like other photographers counting the time and the $$$ he is there to make sure you get the images you are wanting and memories that go along with it. Wedding Photography Packages
I offer a number of photography service packages that can easily be modified to fit your needs. I will first consult with you to determine the style of photography you like to determine which package and number of hours suits your wedding best. From there I will capture imagery and provide an online gallery you can download, print, or share high resolution edits from.
Couples Photography
No matter the occasion I am available for hire on an hourly basis. I am able to shoot anywhere on Oahu or other islands for that matter. I've captured Couples, Proposals, Engagements, Pregnancy, Anniversary, Underwater or Wedding pictures and will do whatever it takes to ensure satisfaction.
