What’s your interior design process?
ONLINE INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICE
We understand that you don't always need a designer to come to you. Here at Louise Booyens Interiors, we can provide you with an online interior design scheme without having to meet in person.
All we need from you to get started is the following:
Answer some questions about your space
Your inspirational images
Your room measurements
We'll contact you to discuss your plans and once we fully understand your design ideas, we'll produce a design document which will be sent to you digitally so that you can implement the designs in your own time.
Your design document will include the following:
Digital mood board
Colour scheme
Scaled floor plan with furniture layout
Flooring, lighting, furniture, accessory and artwork options (depending on what is required)
Window treatment options
Shopping list of all items suggested in the designs
If any fabric samples are needed for your design scheme, these will be sent out by courier.
This type of design service is a very cost effective way of styling and designing your home. It gives you the freedom to implement the designs at your own pace as and when time and/or money permit.
BESPOKE INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICE
This is a complete interior design service tailored to your individual requirements. Any of the following can be provided on its on or combined to suit your project:

Initially, we'll meet for a 90 minute consultation where we'll get to know one another, talk about your design plans and what it is you'd like to achieve.
After our meeting, we'll go away and prepare a Fee Proposal describing the services you're requesting, detailing the payments etc.
Once we know a little bit more about you and your project needs and you've accepted our fee proposal, we'll get to work on your concept designs.
Within our complete concept design package, we’ll provide you with a complete set of designs including mood boards, colour boards, 2D plans, 3D sketches, samples of proposed materials and finishes.
Of course, our work is all about understanding what you want and it is at this stage that we'll present the concept designs to you for feedback. We're happy to allow for up to two revisions.
Depending on your unique situation, you could then decide to implement these designs yourself as and when time and finances allow or you could ask us to project manage the implementing of your designs.

The styles of individual clients are not all the same and I can implement any style that the client prefers. It is of the utmost importance to me to ensure that the client is happy with the end result, therefore, I take time at the beginning of each project to get the brief right, and will make sure I understand exactly what the client wants for his or her home.
What do you love most about your job?
Home is a reflection of who we are, it influences how we feel and it affects us on so many different levels every day. I love working closely with my clients, using my passion for colour, texture and materials to turn their house into a home where they feel can happy and comfortable.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had a passion for anything "interior" and after I recently completed my degree in interior design, I set up my own interior design business to help people create beautiful spaces that they can call home.

I have always had a knack for creating harmonious spaces by using different patterns, colours and textures and I have a good eye for design, colour and detail. I work closely with my clients to find out what they need their home to be so that I can help them to create a beautiful space that works for them.

Design for Period Homes
Whether listed or unlisted, the architectural details and charming quirks of period properties make them unique and it can sometimes be overwhelming to make design decisions. It is very unusual to find a period house without any of the original details and at Louise Booyens Interiors, we understand that it can be difficult to decide what to keep, add or get rid of when working on a design scheme for your heritage home.
