I was invited to a Media event to taste Louis Gervais new Fall Menu. Well, I was Blown Away. The family style entertaining was homey yet very elegant at his bistro. From the appetizers to the entrees, the presentation of every dish was exciting & every morsel was so delicious. Chef Louis has passion for cooking & it shows. The dinner was Amazing. Then it was topped off with white chocolate croissant pudding drizzled with caramel sauce. Wow...Now I'm in Foodie Heaven. What a way to end the evening. We dealt with Louis Gervais for a suprise birthday party for my mother. From the start of the planning process I found Ariana to be helpful, responsive and easy to work with. The event was held in the Bistro and the outcomes were fantastic. The food was incredible and the set up beautiful. On May 29th of this year my wife and I decided to have her mothers "celebration of life" party at Louis' Bistro on Harbourside Drive in North Vancouver. The choice couldn't have worked out better! The venue was perfect for our gathering of about 60, with awesome inside and outside areas, and the food = amazing, the staff there but not and super friendly and efficient. Marnie and Gabriel looked after every request and detail with a smile.

The food was presented gorgeously, and tasted wonderful. Louis had Two Rivers Meats create an amazing sausage for our "European" background guests and one of his chefs made the most incredibly delicious Cabbage Rolls for those attending of Ukrainian lineage! And yes I did say "amazing" Cabbage Rolls just to be clear. All the food was super tasty and presentation was flawless.

Louis Gervais and his crew catered Kate and Pietro’s wedding (for 130 guests) and they were amazing. From helping us with menu choices to handling the event, Louis, Kelly and Marnie were organized, creative, and knowledgeable in every aspect of their work. The entire menu was beautiful and delicious and the serving staff attentive, friendly, and professional. Great work! Louis and Marnie met with us many times to ensure our event was going to be exactly as envisioned. They provided chances to taste the dishes and modify/swap as needed ahead of time. The final result was fantastic. It was for 48 people. Staff was great. Chef at the event was fantastic. Marnie did a great job taking care of everyone in a professional but unobtrusive way. I have been working with Louis Gervais, Kelly, and the wonderful Marnie for the last several months for my mom's 60th birthday this July. They were all absolutely wonderful and we all couldn't have asked for better service, food, and overall experience. From the beginning of the experience I worked directly with Kelly. She was incredibly professional and always answered my emails very quickly and was always super helpful. Marnie who also is the event planner was amazing as well. She ended up being at the event managing it the entire time and I couldn't have asked for someone more calm, friendly, and just overall fun to have around! I seriously ended up feeling like Marnie and the gang were family at the end of the party and loved having them around and helping me. Also, before the event when I felt a little stressed, Marnie eased all my stress and also kept me laughing which is definitely a bonus! The staff during the event were all incredible. They helped me set up and were amazing throughout the event. The food was insanely DELICIOUS. We ended up picking a family style menu and with an ever growing guest list the team was super accommodating even a few hours before the event! Also, when we had to add some vegan options a few days before they did not hesitate once to help us with that. The actual food on the event was incredible and our guests are still to this day chatting about it. Everything was perfection and myself as well as the guests and my family had no complaints or wish anything was different. Overall, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Kelly and Louis and the team catered our 190 person wedding in September 2018. They were fantastic. From first contact they brought their skill and experience and support. The food was fantastic. Not good, fantastic. They listened to everything we said and provided us with the advice we needed to get things right. They also helped us with equipment rental and all other rentals for the event. This was my first time dealing with LG and it was a pretty challenging situation (including needing a fair amount of logistical advice to pull it off without a hitch and in a relatively small party area).
