They Baker and owner is such a nice lady and she does such beautiful work! We had our bridal shower here as well and the cottage is so adorable was so perfect and the food was fantastic. Our cake for the wedding was picture perfect and better than I could have ever imagined! It was so yummy and just so beautiful! She is so talented! We held a shower here for my best friend yesterday. I cannot praise the staff enough. From the moment we started planning they have been nothing but helpful and accommodating. Angie was quick to respond to all of my questions/concerns and was right there interacting with our guests and making sure we had EVERYTHING we needed. As far as shower planning goes, this was low to no stress and everything turned out beautifully. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for a cozy, decent sized shower. We had been having a hard time finding a baker to do pies for our wedding and Jess blew us out of the water with how accommodating she and her staff would be for us. . Not only was she able to answer all of our questions , most of her answers were "whatever you want we will make it happen", she was also very personable and the samples were outstanding. Hosted a beautiful tea party themed bridal shower yesterday at Louie's. The cottage was perfect for the theme- something that is not easy to find in the Lehigh Valley anymore. Very reasonably priced! As someone who lives out of state, the staff was very accommodating- only had to make two trips- an initial visit to see the cottage in person, and the day of the shower! Food was delicious, and Louie's made a beautiful tea pot shaped cake for the shower. Received many complements on the shower. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to host a shower in the area! I bought two cakes from here for my son's second birthday and now his 5th. I absolutely love this bakery and thier wonderful staff. The cakes looked amazing and shocking being I didn't pick out an ordinary cake. Had my daughters Bridal Shower in the cottage... very charming! A perfectly lovey place for our gathering!Food was wonderful, desserts were yummy and all the food was presented so nicely!
The only minor issues is that they had the time for our brunch at 1:00( wouldn't this be lunch at that time?...we scheduled for 11:00...)... and the coffee creamers and dish they were on was removed at least 40 minutes prior to our ending and not replaced... staff was not friendly and did not ask if there was anything needed( we had to go get additional forks from bakery)... minor issues, no biggie...overall it was lovely and would definitely recommend it! We ordered five pasty and cookie trays from Louie’s for our wedding in lieu of a wedding cake, and we are *so* glad we did! The pastries and cookies were *delicious,* and the guests raved about them. We got our wedding cake from Louie's and it was incredible! Cheryl was great throughout the consultation in talking through different options with us and directing us to achieve the vision we had. The cake was absolutely delicious and multiple guests commented that "it was the best wedding cake I've ever had!". The sugar flowers were beautiful and I love how smooth the entire cake looks knowing that it isn't covered in fondant! Definitely will continue using Louie's for cakes in the future. More...

I had the most perfect bridal shower there this past weekend! Not only was it absolutely adorable but my bridesmaids and mother ranted and raved about how easy the staff were to communicate with and plan and how accommodating and reasonably priced everything was. And then there was the food....oh my gosh was it delicious! I received so many compliments from all my guests about the entire thing. I would recommend the cottage hands down to anyone hosting any sort of small party! It was absolutely perfect in every way! Thank you Louie's! After shopping around I enlisted the help of Louie's Bakery for my sister's baby shower cake. I emailed the baker a picture of what we were hoping for and she made our dreams come true verbatim!

For a very reasonable fee Louie's delivered the cake to the venue for me. When it arrived (at the exact time they said it would) I was blown away by how amazing it looked and I wasn't the only one. All morning people raved about the amazing cake! I felt very blessed to display this labor of love that Louie's made for us.

As far as the staff goes they were a pleasure to do business with. Everyone I spoke with or emailed was friendly, helpful, and efficient.

Oh and in case you're wondering YES it tasted as good as it looked. We went with an icing called 'bridal buttercream' and it's sweetness level was just right.

Thanks again Louie's! Even though the cake is now gone, my sister and I will remember it for years to come. More...
