My husband and I started going here over a year ago. It started off as a gift for my birthday, groupon deal. Which turned into reoccurring visits. We both love not only the staff but the rooms and the relaxing sitting room after our service. They know how to keep the place quite which makes for an overall wonderful experience when you want to relax. The tea they offer is a MUST TRY!!! The rooms are to the right temp, not to hot yet not to chili. The beds are heated which I personally love as it helps you relax even more. I have been going to Lotus Holistic Spa for almost 6 years now! I love the facials, body wraps and massages, though they offer many other services. I have received multiple messages from multiple massage therapist through out the years and I will have to say that by far the best massage therapist is Kate C.! She always does an amazing job of getting all of those little knots and trouble spots! She is very in tune with what her clients need! I always leave feeling so relaxed! I originally found this spa through Groupon. I had a mother/daughter “couples” massage for fun. It was amazing. I don’t remember the massage therapists names but I’ve had several over the years and though some do chit chat a little to much for relaxation (partially my fault) I’ve never been disappointed. Up until recently I had a membership which I loved (but am moving so I canceled) it’s awesome for people like me who don’t make time for themselves. Kate is wonderful and I highly recommend. The salon part is nice and I had my first hair cut there recently. It turned out great and I will be doing color with them shortly. I’ve been reading through reviews on here and have to say, most of them seem ridiculous and by people who don’t read fine print or come unprepared. Wow, all these people complaining about the groupon and "groupon shaming" are ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I had a groupon as well. I called the week I got it, and made an appointment. They couldn't get me in immediately but helped me find a time that worked for me and worked with them. They aren't like massage envy-they don't have just a ton of massage therapists there, they do other stuff so yes, they have limited spots since they have limited people to perform the massage! So the booking was a few weeks out but it helped me plan as well. I went in for my appointment-arrived early like I was told to. They staff was VERY friendly and sweet. They were accommodating and exceptionally good at their jobs. The massage, foot scrub and hot oil cranial massage were all wonderful!! Cami was more than accommodating when we called about the couples massage, as far as honoring the previous Mother's Day deal pricing and booking us last minute for a week out. We really enjoyed the hospitality at the desk, (very welcoming and understanding), the knowledgable masseuses, (gave me stretching tips afterwards-added bonus) the thoughtful aromatherapy, (orange for spring) and the generous portions of sangria They understood it was our first time being away from our infant and really took their time to make it an enjoyable experience. Lisa has been working on me for a few massages now, and i can honestly say i have noticed a HUGE drop in back pain and posture issues! She is fun to talk to, but knows when to be silent for relaxation. She knows every muscle of the body and explains to me anything i want to know about what she is doing. A great experience. I snagged a couples massage groupon last minute and doubted whether they would be able to get me on the books the day before Valentine's as getting onto a schedule on such short notice is often a push for just about. .. everything. It all worked out. The directions given over the phone made finding the location easier then it would have been otherwise. We really appreciated the complimentary aromatherapy and warm welcome from staff. I was a bit nervous about getting a massage due to chronic health concerns but Abby did an incredible job working to ease discomfort and respected the areas that needed a soft touch (kate was wonderful too!). I was looking for a special thing to do with my Mom. We both needed a break and a lot of pampering. I was looking for a spa package and not really sure where to go for a memorable experience. A friend suggested Groupon for a good deal. Decided to give it a whirl and so thrilled I did.

I ordered a Groupon package for 2 massages, the "element package" 80 minutes of various services. We both chose to get the "fire package" at a 55% discount. Not too bad at all. I called the spa about 3 weeks after getting the Groupon and got an appointment for my Mom and I at the same time at our desired date/time without issue.

The day of our service was simply wonderful, we were treated with such respect and kindness from moment one and throughout our stay. My Mom and I both enjoyed our package and the quiet time after with the sangria and oranges, what a lovely touch. My Mom and I both purchased more services (at a discounted price, offered to those who had used Groupon). We will most definitely go back.

Only feedback that that is a bit on the negative is that I did not care for the hot cranial oil massage (however, this is strictly personal). I did not care for the oil in my hair or the scent and hope that when I have my next "element spa day" that I can get a different service in exchange.

I truly enjoyed my services, the environment of the spa and the attitude and professionalism of the staff and owner.

I came to see Doris with a groupon to try to do an ombre color on my hair that I have processed the roots myself over the past years. She was so persistent and diligent as this was not an easy task to do as my hair was not cooperating with the lift. Instead of calling it quits, she actually processed the ends twice to hope to achieve the look I was going for in the same appointment. Like many other reviewers, my wife and I came here because a friend had purchased a Groupon for us as a gift for a Couples Massage. And like many others, the deadline had expired and we had to put the balance paid for the Groupon towards our massage. Unlike many others, I personally despise Groupon. I feel the concept itself is bad for business, and the people that use them tend to be on the cheaper side and have no customer loyalty. Businesses do Groupons so they can build their customer base. Unfortunately, Groupon buyers chase the latest deals, and very few ever return. However, this was a gift and we certainly appreciated our friend thinking of us. We had no problem paying the balance for the massages because we missed the expiration date. We found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. I was paired with Hecza (sp?) and my wife was paired with Lisa. Both were great. Lisa especially took great care of my wife who had certain restrictions on her massage due to health reasons. The massages were thorough and didn't feel rushed at all. My only complaint was that after the massage, they were low on sangria (which was part of the Groupon) and we did get pressured by two different staff members to book another appointment. Normally, we would certainly be interested in doing so. But we live about 45 minutes away from this business, so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for us to become members unfortunately.All things considered, we had a good experience here. I've been to this spa twice. Once in December to have my hair and makeup done before my company holiday party and just recently for a massage. We purchased a Groupon for an elemental massage for two people. We both chose the fire massage that included a hot oil scalp massage and also upgraded to include a foot scrub. My roommate and I walked out of our rooms completely relaxed to be offered a nice cold glass of lemon water as well as sangria. We were led to the outdoor patio to enjoy our drinks and the beautiful day. Based on both of my experiences at this spa, I decided to purchase a membership. There was no hard sell, just a very quick mention of their membership packages if we were interested. The manager brought out the packet of information, two sign up sheets and two pens, answered our questions and then left us alone. The customer service here has been top notch each time I've been here and I can't wait to get to know everyone there even better now that we'll be going there monthly. (My roommate didn't sign up since she can go with me and pay my member prices!) To the person that gave a 1 star rating because of the Groupon expiring before you could get an appointment....please be sure to read the fine print.....it very clearly states that the value never expires but additional costs will be incurred after the fact. As with any spa, it's rare that you can get an appointment with short notice. We had trouble finding a good time for our next service and we were booking a month out. Also, please understand that to give you special treatment by allowing you to use your Groupon after expiration and not charging you the difference is a business decision that is most likely based on how often that probably happens. You may think it's no big deal for just you, but do you think you're the only one that was asking? This is an excellent spa with excellent staff, customer service and very reasonable prices.
