I decided to write a review because I used Lotus cleaning several years ago and recently decide to contract their services again after feel frustrated with spending all my free time cleaning.  I was pleased they are still around, and they even had on my information still on file, so setting things up again was really easy.  As for cleaning, they do an amazing job and are so fast! I love that they are women-owned and operated, that they use natural products, and are so friendly and hard-working.  Definitely you should give them a try! More...

We received a deep clean and I don't think our apartment has ever been so clean! Our house literally echoes now after the cleaning because they removed so much dust. It looks a lot better. We have a lot of knick knacks (Bay Area problems - there's just not storage space for everything) but they clearly moved those items to clean surfaces instead of just cleaning around. Our bathroom was SCRUBBED! And all of the mirrors, cabinets, etc. in our house were scrubbed too. We did the deep clean in advance of moving to a bi-weekly service so I'm really looking forward to continuing to have a clean house just like this! More...

Hilda and Laura came today along with a trainee, the three of them did a great job cleaning our house and listening to our concerns (we don't use shoes in the house, and because of safety reasons, e. g. slipping, they don't take them off, so they made sure to disinfect them).They had an arrival window of 10:45am to 11am. Around 10:30am I was called and let known that they would be arriving at 11am. They took a quick tour of the house, asked us questions in regards to where we wanted focus and if we wanted special products for our hardwood floors.As they were finishing up, Hilda asked us to review their work. We found their work to be very thorough, especially our master bath shower! They even cleaned our sliding doors, inside and out! We ended up asking if they could clean a few spots that were on the walls. We thought Hilda was going to do it, but the whole team went back to work. They did a great job of scrubbing off the paw prints and random smudges.We're really satisfied and will be booking our next cleaning in 2 weeks. :) More...

We requested a move-out cleaning service for our studio in expectation for our next tenant. From our previous experience with other cleaners, we were expecting clean, but Adriana and her colleague gave us *spotless*. The unit looked and felt like it had just been renovated, and we could not have been happier with the result. Lotus will now be our go-to cleaning service provider for our rental needs. I used Lotus for an initial deep cleaning, and they did such a good job that I have scheduled them to do regular cleanings of my condo. They bring all of the tools that they need to clean your place. I was actually quite impressed by how much they brought with them to make sure they have what they need to tackle any issue one might have. Their staff, Veronica & Marlen, were very pleasant, listened to all of my details and requests, and got to work quickly and efficiently. I'll be honest - I have extremely high cleanliness standards, and it is rare that anyone can meet the level that I think is required. That said, this team did a great job, and I was happy with the deep cleaning. One more thing, getting my initial appointment scheduled as well as my regular routine schedule afterward was painless. I've always had good luck with Lotus Cleaning services, and the last cleaning I had was excellent. Laura and Hildy were very professional, pleasant, and more thorough than any other cleaning service I've used. I also really appreciated speaking with Biddi on the phone who was very helpful finding a convenient time for me--it's such a relief after being frustrated with larger cleaning companies with virtually no customer service. We've been using Lotus since the last review five years ago (!) and are only stopping because we're moving out of the area. They have continued to provide a great service, with hard-working cleaners who are fantastic with our dog. It is so nice to come home to a clean house that doesn't smell like gross cleaning products. We've been looking for a good cleaning service in Oakland the past year and I'm so excited we found Lotus.  The two women who came to do our initial deep cleaning were amazing. They were polite, professional, efficient and did one of the best cleanings I've seen.  We also ordered carpet & couch cleaning through Lotus - my couches haven't been this clean since we bought them 3.5 years ago. My cleaning team at Lotus is fantastic!  I have my house cleaned once every 3 weeks or so and they do a great job every time.  They are timely, friendly and professional.  They make my house sparkle!  I love them!  The staff at Lotus is flexible and easy to work with if you have to reschedule.  It's also really easy to add a special task - like oven cleaning or cleaning my plants.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning service - either one time or regular. I never thought I would spend money on a house cleaner given that I live in a tiny studio and that just seemed so luxurious. But - I wanted a fresh start and decided to use Lotus to deep clean my apartment. I am so glad I did it. Even though I clean my apartment a couple times a week, the cleaners who came scrubbed corners of my apartment that I had missed. I was apprehensive that there would be a noticeable difference when I came home since I generally keep my apartment tidy and clean, but the difference was remarkable! Just MehI had my house cleaned today.  This was my first time so I went with the deep cleaning recommended.The good:They did a great job with my cooktop and appliancesThe tile floors were mopped wellThey finished in 4 hours as statedThe bad:They do not move things but rather clean aroundThey left many items not dusted see pics of a fewThe hardwood floors were just ok, the cleaner they used was not as good as BonaThey were supposed to clean baseboards and I had to point out missed onesThe blinds were just ok but not thoroughly cleanedVacuuming was decent as long as you have nothing they need to move like an exercise ballIf you really want a cleaning job I would pass on this provider.  Oh and the people who showed up were not the ones in the email I was given names Karen and Maria but when I asked names were told Belky and something like Helena.  Might be outsourcing since they had good reviews and requestsUPDATE:I received a credit and an offer to clean areas missed.  I am updating my rating because I appreciate an honest business that tries to make it right.  Also Hermelinda was really good and I saw her correct the work of Velkis.  Just make sure you don't get Velkis. This is a bit overdue as I've been working with Lotus Cleaning for over 4 years. We have always had a good experience with the women who come, and they are always friendly and professional. Most recently, we had Adriana and Arelys (I think that was her name), and they did a great job cleaning the house in 2 1/2 hours. They have accommodated my need for a time change (we have a puppy who needs to be out of the house when they come), and they changed the time several times for us. They come as a team of 2, do green cleaning with no smells (which we need, cant handle chemical smells), and they do a great job! It's true, I had some trouble getting in touch with them by phone (not sure when they are actually in the office), but they have always responded to email promptly. This was my first time working with Lotus. I'm new to the area and searching for a regular cleaning service. Lotus has their team start with a deep cleaning first and then moves into the standard cleanings which makes total sense to me. So this first one was a deep clean. Adriana and Angelica were the two professionals who came to clean my home, and clean it they did. My apartment is so shiny now. Even the inside of my kitchen sink looks pristine. Adriana and Angelica arrived within the arrival window, greeted me and went right to work. The cleaning took about two hours for my one bedroom apartment. I am very happy that I called Lotus to come help me with keeping my house together! They are very nice and clean very quickly and efficiently! I had Mayra and Angelita and they were so good I couldn't believe how organized and clean my house was. I needed some help keeping up with cleaning the house with my kids and crazy work schedule and they were able to come during Saturday! They showed up and I took my kids to the park. I got to spend quality time with my kids and I got home my house was beautifully clean! I'm sorry Angelita and Mayra i know you guys had to pick up soO many toys lol. Lotus is the first maid service that I've tried. The process of setting up the first appointment was easy and fairly efficient. Lots of questions to answer but I felt that they were getting a good idea of what the job entailed. They were responsive to my need to set up an appointment as soon as possible -- inlaws were arriving in a couple of days.The two women who came to clean were as sweet as can be. They arrived on time and brought all their equipment and supplies with them. They worked hard for the two hours that were scheduled and finished on time, leaving me with a clean house with lots of details that just made me smile. Pillows nicely placed on the couch, clothes that had been thrown around my son's room folded nicely, and they did this cool thing with the vacuum on the living room furniture that left a sort of stripe pattern in the microfiber -- pretty. Been using them for several years. Fair pricing, green products, good cleaning. We've had the same woman be at most of the cleanings now for several years, which is both nice and a good sign about the company. Our dog loves them and vice versa.
