It has always been my wish to go on an apple picking experience since I came to the States. Los Rios Rancho made my dream come true. I picked 4 different varieties of apples, chestnuts, had a tractor ride, walked around the botanical garden, shopped at the tavern for apple cider, jams and jellies and ate freshly roasted tri-tip on bread. Great scenery, trails are great. Make sure to be there early to beat traffic and the people. Wished to see more wildlife but it'e okay. Also amazing during apple season.

Two items, chillie beans and corn bread, great stuff! Tri-tip delicious, either in the sandwich or on its own.

Truly couldn't be happier with the customer service at this place. Great staff paired with great location and food it's really a unique place so close to home that goes without notice most the year. Apple picking with the family was great. The picnic area behind it truly is secluded and private feeling. Very nice. Took my wife there to do a little photography too. More...

Nice place to bring your family for a mile trail, have a picnic and spend half of day there to enjoy the life. The apple cider is the best in the IE area.

We enjoy visiting Oak Glen for Apple picking, andnit usually means a stop at Los Rios Rancho. They have a lot for a family to do like wagon rides, a petting zoo, and if you're early enough in the season, apple picking. Their property also sits next to a wildlands conservancy space that's free (but donations are appreciated!), and a fun hike for kids or adults. The food is good, just not a lot of it at this site - a BBQ and some simple stuff like hot dogs and corn on the cob. We enjoyed our 2 hours here and then went on to other venues. More...

There a ton of activities here. They include apple picking, cider tasting, music, hay rides, a petting zoo, and u press cider. The store has everything you could want and more. All the food we tried was great. We especially liked the pies. It was a great time for both my wife and myself. The lines were a little long but it’s worth it for how nice this place is. More...

Everything's very expensive. I guess that's cuz they have to make all their money in a short few months. But you really don't have to spend money to enjoy the place. Beautiful hiking trails nearby.

What an amazing and charming place to have an adventure with your four legged friend! We had a doggy meetup and had a potluck at the lawn in front of Los Rios' little "town" before going through the botanic garden and hitting the trail for a hike. The full loop of the trail had quite an elevation climb towards the end but it was doable. Absolutely gorgeous place to appreciate the beauty of the great outdoors. We picked up an apple crumble top pie and some cider in their town and OMG the crust on their pie is to die for. They have animals here too and offer pony rides for the kiddos. Saw you can press your own apple cider too. Lots to do here. The drive was rough on a Saturday because of traffic but it was well worth it. The BBQ offered in town smelled incredible too. We had a baby with us so we had to cut our visit short this time. Looking forward to visiting again and doing more. So nice that this gem is dog friendly! More...
