Beautiful day and picked this restaurant so we could enjoy lunch outside and what a wonderful surprise! Queso dip was fabulous, we also had Redfish Fajitas w/grilled shrimp and made our own tacos, both were delicious but the fajitas were fantastic! Will definitely be back!!

* good deals good food *I went here with my roommates for a birthday dinner and we were very happy surprised to find out that we were there just in time for the end of happy hour! SO, we all got cheap happy hour meals and a queso and brownie for the table! the happy hour meals were pretty big for their price, the queso was aaaaaamazing, and the brownie came with ice cream and was so incredible!in my opinion, some of the dishes get a bit pricey outside of their happy hour prices, so I personally would rather come here just for happy hour! but the food was so good & my roommates and I had a great time!will most definitely be back for more happy hour queso More...

I'm in love with this place! It's authentic and fresh food. What I enjoy most is that the food is always consistent! I gotta tell you I'm a foodie and I'm sensitive about my & #¥+!! Portions are generous and the food is made to order. I'm sure you're thinking that there may be a lengthy wait...NOPE!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can also request modified menu items to address dietary restrictions. I should also mention that there are UNLIMITED Margaritas on Wednesday?! I don't usually love Mexican cuisines, but the item I ordered (pictured, beer battered redfish tacos) was delicious.  The redfish pieces in the tacos were large and fried to crispy perfection in beer batter.  The colorful garnish included avocado, Mango salsa, cilantro, and a purple slaw. First I want to thank Yelp because of them I found Los Jefes ! This is definitely a go to Taco Tuesday hang out spot. On Tuesdays from 7 pm-10 pm they have a live DJ, 2 for 1 margaritas on the rocks, but the best part is they offer 5 tacos for $5 ! !! I don't know but I think they have the best deal for tacos  in the city. I ordered 1 steak, 2 grilled chicken, 1 ground beef and 1 chicken tinga. I love how they gave a sheet that allowed you to customize your tacos. The tacos had good flavor but you have to be sure you dress them up to your liking because what they come with may not be enough. They also give complimentary chips and salsa. The tortilla chips were fresh and the salsa had a great flavor. I also unlocked a free queso through the Yelp app after checking in. The queso was good but I would love a little bit more flavor. I worked nearby and it was Tuesday.  I figured it's taco Tuesday so I'll check this place out.  I'm so glad I did.  It was $1 for a taco and you can choose from a varieties of meat you would like on your taco.  You can also pay extra to have toppings on top.  They also had a 2 for 1 drinks.  The tacos were delicious.  They did not skimp out on anything and the margaritas was strong.  On top of that, our waitress was very attentive.   I will definitely be back since everyday they have a different special. My favorite Mexican restaurant in the entire city. All of the ingredients are fresh, or made in house, and you can really tell that the food is great quality. I recently had the opportunity to attend a Yelp event, and it was wonderful hearing about the humble beginnings of the owner. They offer weekly specials, including a great happy hour, and a taco Tuesday. They recently upgraded their interior and exterior, so it's a nice, clean, colorful atmosphere to enjoy a cocktail or your favorite Mexican fair. I called before the store opened and they were very helpful and took my name and number to call me back once their boss got in to look in his office. We went for happy hour on taco Tuesday, the only only is there is no happy hour when it's taco Tuesday. The website says 2 for 1 margaritas from 3 to 6, what it doesn't say it's they don't consider taco Tuesday a regular day. The food was fresh and hot when delivered to it table. It was really good and we will probably go again. The service was a little show but, the place was packed so that's understandable. The ordering process was a little over complicated (maybe because it was our first time there?) You have to order your tacos in sets of 5, even though you can mix or match the types it still must be in sets of 5 per menu, I ordered 7 and my partner ordered 8 thinking ok that's 15 so 3 sets of 5 right? Nope I should have ordered 5 and she should have ordered 10 to get the discount. Or server made it right but, it was a little confusing. We didn't order drinks since the only special was 2 for 1Avion Tequila for 13.95. No 2 for 1 regular margaritas since it was taco Tuesday. More...

Ordered from them for the first time tonight. Ordered and was delivered via grubhub. Food was pretty good and showed up super quick. Only one issue, the description online said that the seafood tacos come with charro beans and rice (see attached photo). When the food arrived, the Charro beans and rice were missing. I contacted grubhub and they called the restaurant and Los Jefes informed grubhub that the seafood tacos do NOT come with charro beans and rice. Listen, it's not a huge deal that the beans and rice didn't show, as we didn't pay extra for them; however, had we known the description online was incorrect, we would've just paid for a side of charro beans and rice, as the tacos alone were not enough food for my father who ordered them.
