I had Larry come out for a birthday party and he was fantastic. He event structured his show around the birthday party theme which was amazing. Everyone had fun both kids and adults. I would definitely recommend him to anyone throwing a party for kids. He is great and ensure that all the kids had a turn and felt included. More...

Very fun, enjoyable family show. Great mix of talent and approaches to magic. Not Broadway or Kennedy Center, but more intimate and just as fun. Highly recommended.

I've seen Lorenzo the Great perform many times and the kids go wild when they hear and see his magic! Â He's a great story teller and the best part of Lorenzo's show is that it's the children that really do the magic as they participate.

How long have you been interested in magic?
I've been performing magic for about 25 years, starting when my daughter was in kindergarten.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Expect a 45-minute show filled with laughter, excitement and magic. I normally perform for children and I use plenty of helpers. For birthday parties, the birthday child is my principle helper although I use plenty more. My goal is to entertain and create magic memories for the children and their families.
What do you love most about your job?
I love kids and I love making them laugh. The fact that I can do that, and get paid a bit in the process, makes my job wonderful.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had been performing for friends and family for many years and I wanted to take this to the next step and perform professionally.
Why should our clients choose you?
I make children laugh and have a great time. I provide a wonderful show at a reasonable price. I've been recognized by my peers as a responsible person by holding office in several magic clubs. I'm currently the president of the largest magic club in the Greater Washington area, the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Ring 50, and I'm a several-term past president of the Society of American Magicians, Assembly 23, which meets in downtown Washington. I am also an adjunct professor of journalism at The George Washington University.
