I've only ordered flowers from here twice and both times, they worked within my budget and received a really nice arrangement. Today was no exception. Called from out of town at 10:00 am to order flowers for a friend who has just delivered a baby at a downtown hospital, and by 2:30 a beautiful bouquet of flowers were in her room. Great and friendly service!

Lord Baltimore is really an awesome place - they've done really well with me, an admittedly rather difficult client.I've ordered flowers from Lord Baltimore twice, and in both cases asked for relatively late delivery on relatively short notice.  Both times, the flowers were not only excellently done and exactly as requested, but the delivery timing and overall speed was perfect.  On top of it all, the pricing isn't greatly over other flower shops in the area, meaning that I didn't have to pay a premium for the service.I'd definitely recommend this place! I couldn't find an open florists for flowers for a friend's recital but came upon this gem. Don't let the small floor plan fool you - this tiny shop has more variety in it I would have thought possible. I went in thinking I would spend about 30 bucks on flowers - simple arrangement of carnations, roses, and baby's breath and walked out with a gorgeous bouquet of birds of paradise and other exotic flowers for about 37 dollars - worth the extra money because these flowers tend to last several weeks in water as opposed to two-three days. We approached Lord Baltimore about to give up, but hooray, they were open. Jackie, the owner, was very busy preparing for a floral delivery to an event that evening, but she dropped what she was doing to help us. She put together a beautiful arrangement with some exotics... it was lovely. But most of all, it was the can-do, accommodating spirit that she and her staff exhibited. They even offered us a ride back to our hotel! This is the kind of personalized service that we don't see as much anymore. If I lived here, I'd use them all the time. In response to Rip off, there is a 15 dollar delivery fee 3 dollars and 90 cents in taxes and that leaves 65 dollars for the flowers, vase, and designers labor costs. The Stargazer lily's had multiple blooms per stem and four long stem red roses were placed in the vase along with four iris which are a spring flower and thus more expensive in the fall. Since 1930 we have been delivering gorgeous arrangements throughout the Baltimore Area. We apologize if it wasn't what you expected but hopefully the breakdown helps future customers understand how the money is distributed. The GBC (Greater Balto Committee) sponsored a contest among downtown businesses during the Ravens Rally to see which company had the most Raven team spirit. I called around and all over the internet to try to get 100 purple balloons delivered by 7:30 the next morning. All I received was "sorry, can't help you..there's not enough time. Until I contacted Lord Baltimore Florist and spoke to owner Jackie Dezes. Jackie and her efficient staff made emergency calls to some suppliers and told me they would have the balloons delivered the same day. (I contacted them btwn 3:00-4:00 pm).They kept their promise and delivered 100 purple balloons in 2 deliveries. Jackie was very courteous, kind and professional throughout. I had flowers delivered to me for my birthday, and i received a call from an employee who was very pleasant and polite regarding my order. When she discovered i wouldn't be able to receive my flowers at home, she arranged to have them dropped off at my office. The delivery person was also extremely nice. We needed flower arrangements for an award ceremony at work and we were short on time. After calling around to local florists, Lord Baltimore were the only ones who could accommodate our time crunch. Although time was an issue, they worked with us and came up with a beautiful arrangement to fit our theme/needs. Lord Baltimore Florists has the most gorgeous flower arrangements I've ever seen. The flowers are huge, fresh, and stunning. I recently received a bouquet of roses from them...the roses were full blown, at least six inches across, and lasted for an entire week. While this florist is a bit pricier than generic chain places, it is worth every penny. The customer service and delivery people are extremely pleasant as well.
