We first met Looch at a wedding fayre 18 months before our wedding and he absolutely blew us away and I just knew we had to have him at our wedding no matter what! Fast forward to the big day and Wow! Looch did not disappoint! He was absolutely AMAZING! Arriving on time and so friendly with everyone, he slotted straight in and did his thing mingling around all our guests, leaving them all stunned and amazed. We hired Looch for 2 hours during our evening reception on the 30.08.19. I have only ever metLooch at wedding shows and then he was fantastic however my venue and also family/friends recommended him. It was the best decision I ever made, he was absolutely mind blowing and me and my husband as well as our guests absolutely loved it. We are still talking about how amazing it was now and some of my family are still trying to work it out. No rabbits in hats or bog standard card tricksWedding entertainment that genuinely entertainsIf like me, the singing fake waiters make you cringe and not wowed by the standard ‘is this your card’ wedding magician. . finding wedding entertainment is hard!When we were at a wedding fayre, Looch approached us and offered to show us what he does, then I saw it said Looch was a ‘mind reader’ on his stall, before he'd started I thought ‘no way Im having a magician at my wedding’ ! But I was so so wrong! His 2 min routine with us was enough for us to book the full package there and then. The mix and mingle was perfect for keeping guests entertained after the ceremony, especially whilst the bridal party are having the photos etc. The show after the the speeches really wowed, really interactive so got everyone talking and involved. My grandad ‘can’t get over bloody how brilliant the bloke is, it’s amazing!’ After saying ‘these mind readers, it’s all staged, load a crap’ when I booked it. We first met Looch at a wedding fayre in Nottingham where he bamboozled is with a few cards tricks and up close magic, then his little taster of psychology & suggestion blew us away. On the day of the wedding 13/12/18 Looch arrived on time, dressed very smartly and his ‘stage’ presence from the off was superb.His inclusion of guests and of my Wife & I was great as I was a little concerned that we may miss out, this was not the case. How long have you been interested in magic?
I first began my interest in Magic & Mindreading when I was a teenager. I watched a street performer and was hooked from that moment on, prior to that moment I had only ever seen magic and mindreading on TV and I never knew what was set up or edited. Watching it close up and in person with my own eyes opened up a whole new world to me.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
I offer a whole range of different types of shows and performances. Mix & Mingle, means I am performing for small groups as I walk around the event. The kind of material I perform in this setting is very much personalised to the guests. I will often find out a little bit about them and then tailor the demonstrations and tricks for them.
The Stage Show is designed for After-Dinner events and is much more structured. It takes the audience through a journey of impossibility leaving them open mouthed and amazed. I don't want to reveal specifics because it might spoil the show ;-)
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting lots of amazing people and getting to perform for them. I love seeing peoples faces when they react to my 'Mindreading' its fantastic! I also love performing at special events like Weddings, to be able to share someone's special day with them and their guests is a real privilege.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A love of performing mixed with a drive to provide the best quality service I could.
