From our first phone call, to our first face to face meeting, to the beautiful day of my only daughters wedding, Alexa was so professional yet so caring and every little detail was just as important to her as it was to me as MOB. A few words to describe Alexa: warm, professional, knowledgeable, prepared, attentive, resourceful, accommodating, experienced, thoughtful, kind. .. I could go on and on.

As a bride planning a destination wedding from a far, picking the right planner is key. But as a bride who has only been in a few weddings, I had no idea what to look for in a planner. Despite my inexperience, I knew Alexa was the one from our first telephone call. I could feel that she knew what she was doing, loved what she did and wanted to help me plan the wedding I wanted. Additionally, Responsiveness is extremely important to me and Alexa was on it. No email or text message went unanswered for too long.

She was also very flexible and patient with my changing vision for my wedding. We looked at several different concepts and venues and she was always happy to answer my questions or offer suggestions and never rushed me along.

Once I picked the venue she helped me find vendors that met my needs. If she recommended a vendor that I didn’t like, it wasn’t a problem we just moved on to the next one.
Almost all of the preparation leading up to my wedding wedding day was flawless thanks to Alexa. But Mother Nature was ready to change that. A few days before the wedding the forecast called for unseasonably cold temperatures and then to rain...heavy cold blowing rain. This caused us to scrap the original set up and go to plans b c and d. All the while Alexa handled this curveball like a pro (wish I can say the same for me). She knew I wasn’t in love with the plan that the weather required us to have but she did her best to make it work and make me happy. Ultimately my wedding day was wonderful, despite the weather, and it was all due to Alexa’s hard work, talent and ability to adapt and adjust. My wedding would not have been the same without Alexa! She was such a vital part of our wedding and the success of the day, I really can't imagine how we would have survived without her. Alexa with Long Aisle Events is exceptional, organized, knowledgeable and irreplaceable. I hired her as my day-of coordinator to execute the vision that I planned, and she did that and so much more -- down to the detail of seating the groom and I at our reception with a full meal in front of us to be sure we ate. She thought of everything we could need, gave me wedding etiquette advice when I needed it, and made it special with those extra details. If you're going to spend 12 hours on your wedding day with someone you hardly know, you want it to be Alexa. We exchanged details, shared laughs and conversed with ease on the day of the wedding, feeling like she was a dear friend rather than someone I just met a few months before. Alexa did an amazing job coordinating everything for our wedding. She went above and beyond. She understood our style and what we wanted our day to be like and made sure that everything ran smoothly on the day of. I ended up putting a few DIY projects on myself and even though it was something I had taken on she still checked in to make sure I was on track with everything for the day of. Having Alexa there relieved so much stress for me as I am detail oriented but get overwhelmed when there are too many details. With her help there were many things I was able to pass off to her so that I could focus on other details. At the end of the day she made our wedding day a beautiful, perfect dream. When I first started planning my wedding I didn't think I would ever need a wedding planner. My husband thought it would be a waste of money and that I could handle it all by myself. But as the wedding started getting closer the more I started stressing out. Contracts started getting confusing, I was being asked questions I didn't know how to answer, and I became completely overwhelmed. That's when Alexa jumped in. Alexa is an absolute pro and I am so grateful for all of her help planning our wedding from day one. Looking back at our wedding, hiring Alexa was hands-down THE BEST decision we made.
From the moment we began chatting on the phone, I instantly felt comfortable speaking with a new person about such a personal event. Throughout the entire process, Alexa made my family feel that she was genuinely interested in us and our day. She made us feel relaxed and we just knew she was going to be the oil that helped the entire day run smoothly.
When we hired Alexa, we were one month away from the wedding day. Rather than making us feel rushed, or pressured, she spent hours working with us over the phone and in-person to take our final few hard-to-describe ideas and transformed them into the most unforgettable day.
Not only did we receive compliments from the entire wedding party about Alexa, we received compliments from several of our vendors.
To sum up our experience with Long Aisle Events, as my new husband and I were excitedly whisked away in our getaway car, our driver turned around and said: "You know, I've been doing this for a long time, and she was the nicest planner I have ever met. Alexa was amazing from beginning to end! She was very organized and really made the last six weeks of the wedding planning process a breeze. Alexa has the best personality and made everyone feel as if she was part of the family from the start! The wedding day went perfectly without a hitch, thanks to Alexa. Alexa swooped in with her spreadsheets, industry experience, and KINDNESS to help bring my vision to life. Long aisle events made my wedding perfect! Alexa was organized, on top of everything, new exactly what was best and was by my side through the entire night and weeks before. Day of I felt comfortable knowing she was there. Things came up and she handled them with ease and perfection. I trusted her to handle things and to basically run the show. And I could not have done it better myself! I would hire Long Aisle Events 10 times over. Hiring Alexa for morning of coordination was one of the best decisions we made! I sent her a few pictures of my vision for our decorations and she really brought it to life. I was getting my hair and makeup done all morning so I didn’t interact with her much but my husband and mom said she told people exactly what needed to get done and gave them specific tasks to make the most out of our time. To plan your own Wedding and to make it beautiful and perfect or at least close to perfect, it is not an easy task. .Lots of details, moving parts, stress, patience..Lots of everything! I hired Alexa when I was seriously struggling with wedding planning. My best friend said alexa did her cousins wedding and that she was INCREDIBLE!
