What a lovely place. The staff are so friendly, the food is top quality and the spa is so relaxing. If I had one criticism it would be with the lack of a heated towel rail in the bathroom due to the underfloor heating - we ended up drying swimming stuff etc on the floor. Other than that our break was amazing and we'll definitely be back. More...

The beds are super comfortable and the views across the golf course, trees and birdlife from the double french doors is stunning. We always enjoy the tasty selection of gourmet dining and the great choice of breakfast ..the locally sourced sausages are my favourite. The staff are particularly friendly. Just returned from a very relaxing & enjoyable stay at the London Beach Spa Hotel. Set in the kent countryside & overlooking the hotel's golf course, this is a very well kept & exceptionally clean hotel, with a warm pool, large & very warm main jacuzzi, with a smaller ladies jacuzzi in the female changing/relaxing area. We made full use of the sauna & steam rooms. We booked the executive suite, which is huge! the en-suite bathroom was immaculate & equipped with white fluffy gowns & slippers, large fluffy beach size towels & hand towels & many complimentary miniatures of toiletries. Our room also had a large balcony overlooking the 1st hole of the golf course & stunning countryside. All the staff were wonderful, special mention to Lou, Denise & Becca, who tended to the rooms, who were super friendly & complimentary, also the friendly & helpful bar & restaurant staff; Steph, Chloe & Noah, plus the reception staff Meg, Tracy and Ollie, who we had a chat with before having to reluctantly leave, who made our stay an absolute pleasure. We left feeling very relaxed. The treatments were enjoyable, again, lovely ladies in the massage & treatment area, so friendly. The dinner was high standard, cooked as requested (my husband seldom gets his steak just as he has asked, he really enjoyed his) & the tartlet starter & chicken wing starter were delicious. We had a complimentary bottle of proseco on ice, served in the lounge, whilst we waited to be seated for dinner, and my husband was given a taster of all the draught beers before making his choice, exceptional service. Being almost December, the hotel was adorned with pretty Christmas decorations & lights, with ambient Christmas music playing in the restaurant & bar areas, a nice touch & very festive. We cannot wait to return. More...

A big thank you to all the staff at The London Beach Hotel who made our @Lovelightministries Ladies Spa break a real treat to remember. ||A special thank you to Sue who super exceeded our expectations on all levels. Our tight schedule was managed with ease and the needs of all sixteen ladies met with excellence. ||We were blown over with our extra-large rooms, all with stunning views overlooking the golf course. Their were gowns, the necessary toiletries and complementary slippers in each room. ||We had an amazing time in the spacious spa area which was very clean with easy access to the sauna, steam and jacuzzi facilities throughout the day. The massage and facial treatments were wonderful and the spa staff accommodating. ||We had Afternoon Tea on arrival in the conservatory, the large scones and clotted cream was just divine. Nothing was not too much trouble for the staff, as they catered for one of the ladies who is a vegetarian and lactose intolerance.||The evening ended with us dinning in a lovely private area, the food was exceptional. I would recommend the vegetarian tartlet for starters, it was delicious! ||Having our name cards on the table with our individual menu choice at the back was a pleasant surprise and a very nice touch with special attention to detail.||Our overnight stay ended with a very nice full English breakfast, setting us up for our journey home.||I must comment on the efficiency of the receptionist who itemised all our bills before departure which made everything run smoothly from start to finish.||This hotel is truly a ‘Hidden Gem’ with everything you will need for a relaxing weekend. We recently took a spa break at the London Beach. The room was large and clean with an adequate bathroom and plenty of hot water, although the bathroom had a less than luxurious feel. The bed was not especially comfortable, the mattress was soft and saggy. The tea and coffee tray was very basic, a little upgrade would make all the difference. However, the spa facilities were very good, and it was absolutely brilliant to find a hotel which does not allow children anywhere near the swimming pool!!! One slight issue was that the toilets for the pool/spa area were not located in the changing rooms near the showers / changing area (as is usual) but outside the changing rooms across the corridor. There was also a poolside loo, fine for the gentlemen or ladies wearing a bikini, but not great if you are a lady in a swimming costume! (I won’t go into detail). The ladies-only sauna, steam room, jacuzzi etc. were very pleasant and relaxing to use. My husband was a bit miffed there wasn’t the equivalent for men.||The staff were all very helpful and friendly, special mention for Salvo for being such a character, but all staff went out of their way to accommodate requests and to provide friendly customer service. The spa break deal included breakfast, and dinner with a bottle of Prosecco (or wine). I have to say that dinner was the real highlight of our stay, especially the desserts. The Bakewell tart was to die for, beautifully presented with lots of delicious accompaniments. It was quite possibly the best pudding I have ever had. And I have had a few! The panda cotta and chocolate mousse were also excellent. Seeing the hotel cat on our balcony each morning was fun, he/she seemed keen to be let into the room but we resisted. I would definitely recommend this hotel and may well return soon. More...

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in the end yesterday. We arrived late on our first night but were still allowed to use the spa which is, as an aside, beautiful, clean and relaxing. The staff at this hotel and spa are truly a cut above the rest. We took our 6 month old spaniel puppy as they have dedicated dog friendly rooms and areas and she was treated like a princess. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. There was a lot to like . The food was the stand out highlight. We enjoyed dinner in the conservatory on both nights . The staff were very nice , helpful and friendly. The hotel housekeeping is of a high standard. I had a treatment in the spa which was excellent. The only things that would have improved our stay would be the quality of the products in the room - there’s something extra nice about good quality shampoo etc and the tea and coffee was very basic . Add in good quality coffee and some herbal teas and it would have been perfect. One other very small critism Was the number of notices about additional payments / fines just lowered the tone a bit. This is good hotel for a small group of friends to meet. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful . The spa facilities are superb. Our executive rooms, with balcony and overlooking the golf course were spacious and comfortable, but needing some refurbishment. In particular there were no drawers except in an executive twin room in which to keep clothes. An overhead shelf in the wardrobe and 2 desk drawers were all the drawer space available and we were assured that no one else had remarked on this absence. Actually we had already commented on this on a previous occasion at the hotel! The food was excellent. Our Italian waiter also. Unfortunately one waitress on day one spoilt the ambiance. Maybe she had had a bad day but, when we promptly refused bread brought at the very end of the main course, too late for anyone to eat, her comment was that we had ordered it - and we then saw on our bill that she had charged us for it!
