This venue is such a great find! It is classic and beautiful. David was absolutely amazing. He helped with everything and even offered additional help when I had a minor freak out moment a few days before the wedding. This venue has everything you need so I didn’t have to worry about many decorations. They even boxed up the few decorations I had after the wedding and held them for me until I got back from my honeymoon. They coordinated catering from the local Mexican restaurant and I received multiple compliments on how delicious the food was. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. The venue was was beautiful, homey, flexible and all the guest complimented it! The venue is all inclusive besides the personal touches each specific couple wants such as picture, specific decor, etc. otherwise it seems they have anything you could be looking for! The only thing they are lacking is a bit of professionalism because the space is owned by a local who is friendly but low key. The responsiveness to all my questions were always answers immediately through text (again not as professional but very convienent!). My nephew was recently married at the Loft. In my time I have attended weddings coast to coast and over the seas. Some have been rather well to do families and quite elaborate. I have never seen a more beautiful venue anywhere. I was enlisted in the decoration and the recovery after. Dave could not have been more accomodating. Extremely professional and personable. He obviously really enjoys what he is doing and becomes "one of the family" in short order. The rest of the staff was equally amiable. Osawatamie is charming and quaint. Actually preferable to the bustle of KC. There is a Mexican restaurant, La Hacienda, in easy walking distance for the rehearsal dinner. A lovely park provides a wonderful setting for those outdoor shots. Cost is quite reasonable and you certainly receive considerable value for your dollar.
