Lodge on Loch Lomond

This was an excellent hotel, the room we stayed in had a beautiful view and balcony overlooking the loch which we took in of an evening with a glass or two of wine. The room was very clean and had it’s own Sauna in the bathroom which we used to full advantage. The bed was huge and very comfy. Spa fantastic, Staff friendly, professional and helpful. Views over the Loch lovely. Afternoon tea not so special! Sandwiches dry as if made an hour or so earlier.

Visited many times over the years. The rooms have been completely upgraded to a very high standard as well as the decking at the front. Staff are really amazing and literally nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are warm, exceptionally clean and beautifully furnished. There's all the usual items in the room, towels, robes, slippers, kettle, (tea/coffee/sugar/milk), fridge, iron, safe and hairdryer. Food was very good but I found the menu a little limited compared to the past and not quiet as good as it used to be. Views are absolutely stunning and you're right next to Loch Lomond. More...

Beautiful location, Cuillin suite was spacious, tidy and well fitted out, although the bathroom configuration was slightly confusing - en suite had bath and shower but no toilet and then room shared with other bedroom only had toilet and washbasin.

Beautiful location, had a room with a view of the Loch and it was just spectacular. The rooms were well kept, lovely bathrobes for relaxing in. Attended a wedding and it was great, the room that we had use of was just big enough... Could have done with a little more room for dancing haha. My cousin got married at the lodge at the weekend ❤
What a beautiful setting for a wedding by the loch.
The lodge itself is very Scottish, with tartan carpets and beautiful decor.
The rooms are very spacious, with a beautiful wooden balcony overlooking the loch.
Some rooms have a sauna and there is a swimming pool on the lower floor.
Breakfast was a traditional full fry up, although you don't need to have a fry but if you've had a few drams, I would totally recommended it.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
I would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely lodge, even if you just want a lovely quite get-away to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. More...

Room was OK. Avoid ground floor rooms. Breakfast is basic but nothing special. Restaurant was terrible. "Lamb" was approximately 2"x2"x. 5". Sea trout portion was about the same size.
