I'd been having issues with my door lock for a short while and I had contacted Anglian, the company who had fitted the door only 12 months ago. They were unable to help with this security and safety issue due to Covid - I was told all Scottish offices had been closed and engineers were unavailable. I was upset and concerned and had no choice but to leave the door unlocked on several occasions when I left the house. I called Ultion (who provided the locking mechanism) and they had recommended Bill from Lockforce and passed on my phone number. 10 minutes after putting the phone down to Ultion, Bill had called and a visit was arranged under no pressure. Bill arrived right on time, was professional and friendly throughout the visit and after some investigation and a few adjustments, I was able to lock my door once again. I cannot recommend Tyrone Smit in Hemel Hempstead highly enough. Saturday afternoon and a problem with faulty front door lock. Lee came to sort the lock out on our front door (to avoid any more arguments about lost keys when trying to get out of the house). We messaged him to enquire and he was here at 10am the next day. Due to our door being poorly fitted in the first place, what should have been an 'easy and quick job' resulted in it taking a little longer. Lee was very professional and friendly-nothing was too much trouble. After sorting out the twist lock we'd requested, he realised the lock was slightly too big for a decorative feature of the door so ordered the correct size and was back by 2pm to fit it. We are so impressed and we can now open our door easily from both the inside and the out (the original lock was very stiff). Not only is our door now so much more convenient for us, it is also safer as Lee upgraded the lock to an anti-snap. We are beyond impressed with the both the product and service and will most definitely be recommending Lee and using him again should we require his services! Huge thanks. More...
