What do you love most about your job?
We are based in Split, Croatia and we dare you to Google it...
Building custom products for clients from all over the world, while staying in our hometown IS a great feeling. We also get the opportunity to travel to international conferences as speakers and demonstrators, but most importantly to learn new technologies and trends in the digital market. We are also traveling a lot to our clients HQs and they are visiting us in Split too.
Besides custom development, we like to give back to the local community with our Tinel Meetup event, where we bring world’s top speakers to Split - like Harry Roberts, Ryan Weaver and Hugo Giraudel. We like to support the local IT conferences like Dump Days and Shift Conference as sponsors. It’s amazing to be a part of all those stories…
What inspired you to start your own business?
We always wanted more and we wanted to do it better. Our main goal is to deliver our clients amazing web and mobile apps that will be a pleasure to use and eventually make the customers addicted. Every great app starts with amazing UX and UI, that sells. But of course - great code, architecture and performance are also important.
A lot of agencies are focusing on content websites and not so complex problems and apps. From day one we focused on building custom apps that cannot be solved with existing solutions. With those ideas in mind, we've built a great company and a great team that can build amazing things and help any kind of company - from startups to enterprise.
Why should our clients choose you?
We think our individual approach to every client and learning about client’s idea and business is key. Each of our projects starts with a proper research. Locastic development team consists of really experienced individuals, combined into a functional team that knows how to work together and makes ideas happen.
After we understand the problems and set end goals, we are starting to build prototypes and defining persons (users, customers, clients) that will use the app.
During this process, our focus is to get best possible User experience and to detect all possible problems. Once the prototype is ready, both client and our team are on the same page, knowing what they need to build, we are moving to creating great design and coding. This process gives us the ability to understand and resolve all problems clients want to resolve with their product and from day one to build an amazing product, with great architecture and design.
Prototype build
Creating custom wireframes adjusted for the specific project. This initial phase shows a complete project architecture to the client. Our design team is working professionally with Sketch, Invision and Adobe tools for quick reviews and prototyping.
Design
We can offer effective design resources who will handle your project with creativity, energy, and competence and work side-by-side with you to discover what you need and create the best solution. I am actively involved in all my projects from start to finish.

Development
Locastic programmers are top notch. Our backend and frontend teams have worked together on various international projects. Besides that, they have visited dozens of different conferences as speakers, effectively working on their own skills and transitioning them to new minds.
Consulting
Every project is distributed with a Project Manager who is responsible for managing every development phase. We deliver project fragments every two weeks and present them to the client in order to gain regular feedback.
