What makes a great website?
Definitely userbility - users have a short attention span these days and want information there in front of them. So our websites are built with customers in mind.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is their goals? Do they want more sales, more exposure?
Who's their competitors?
What do you love most about your job?
I love web design but I love SEO (search engine optimisation) more.
Once a website have a lay out - I love to optimise the site for search engines and then work on helping that site rank and get visitors.
It's that competitive streak I have!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Good question!
I have 4 kids, a wife, a cat and a mad dog.
I lost all 3 of my grandparents in the space of 9 months awhile back and it opened my eyes.
It made me realise that life is short.
So I decided to work for myself and live a little more comfortable than when I use to slave 12 hour shifts for an agency in a warehouse.
I wanted to spend more time with my family - so I decided to work from home.
Start a web design company and offer SEO services on top of that.
Why should our clients choose you?
Honestly? I think they should choose me because I'll be honest and I don't cut corners.
I've been in this industry for awhile now and I've seen some cowboys who scam and rip people off to make a quick quid.
I stay on top of all the latest trends and keep up to date with all the forever changing processes in web and search.
And I like to try new things (obviously if the client agrees).
But also, I'm not just a service - I like to think I'm an asset to my client or a part of their team.
I'm reachable on the phone, a one to one basis or I can even come to their office or home if needs be.
My passion is to make businesses stand out & grow!
