I purchased a rare antique pocket watch from an estate, I negotiated that the final sell be contingent on my ability to confirm the authenticity of the metal content. The seller agreed, with the caveat that the testing be performed without utilizing any methods that would alter the piece (traditional medal verification often involves filing into the item in question and the use of acid for verification), I was given a week to perform the determination. I called a vast amount of high-end jewelry stores, searching for one that uses an x-ray process that could provide me the information I needed, I was referred to Loan USA. I was helped by Megan and her staff, whom was accomdating and told me to bring my watch and they would test it for me, free of charge. Loan USA was extremely helpful and accommodating in its efforts to aid me in my ability to determine if my purchase was authentic. Loan USA’s customer service is why I traveled from Connecticut to their location in Springfield, Massachusetts, and why I would recommend them to others based on my experience. Awesome experience, courteous and friendly staff despite the reviews. Sometimes we don't get what we want in life for things we feel are valuable however, childish tantrums and attempting to destroy a well respected establishments reputation that worked hard to get where they are isn't the way to do it. First off, ebay or google what your product sells for at lowest price. I worked in loan shops and although it's not a pleasant feeling not being able to meet people's expectations there's still a business to be ran. It is for profit not for loss.With all said Saturday I was there before they closed and swore she told me 40 cents but it was a laughing matter we enjoyed and will bot be the last time i go there in Springfield, Ma. Extremely good deals!My experience at this pawn shop was amazing. The customer service was pleasant and immediate. I didn't finish walking through the door before I got some attention. My office was in need of a projector, and I stopped by to see if they had any, they had a few on hand. They had many laptops and tv screens and even tablets, all playing the same film, zootopia, (which is a pretty good film). The projector came at an incredible deal. It was in perfect condition, came with the necessary cables, a remote, and even a carrying case! Seuz , the man who had assisted me in this process, was very kind and polite, and helped me buy the amazing Mitsubishi projector for an incredibly low price. Later I found out that the projector I had purchased for $180 is one of the best in its market, retailing at $1300! I left Loan USA as a satisfied customer with a new projector. I went into Loan USA looking for a diamond for an engagement ring. When I walked into the shop I had no idea what I was looking for, or what a pawn shop could do for me. What I found at Loan USA was a team of extremely helpful and knowledgeable experts. They talked me through everything from what to look for when selecting a diamond, to how to figure out my girlfriend's (my now fiancee) ring size and how to select the perfect setting. I know I was a nightmare of a customer, but both Carl and Josh were incredibly patient with me as I waffled back and forth on every detail of the ring. They worked with me as I looked through catalog page after catalog page of engagement settings and finally got the perfect diamond set in the perfect ring for an incredible price. Not only did my fiancee say yes and that she loves the ring, but she get's nonstop comments about how beautiful and perfect it is even from complete strangers. Never being to a pawn shop before, my only impression of pawn shops were what I had seen on TV. Â The employees were very helpful, informative and patient when helping me pick out an engagement ring.
