A very poor experience.
Expensive quote but chose LJR as they could start the job the following week. Work looked good but a host of problems since. First heavy rainfall all joints on guttering leaked, took 4 weeks to get LJR to return and was quoted £500 to repair (local trader did the work for £150) Problems were a lack of support brackets, union brackets not attached to eaves and excess roofing membrane overlapping gutters. Further problems with damp appearing on bedroom chimney breasts. Contacted LJR over a month ago, still not been to check problem. Phone goes to answer phone and messages not responded to, text messages ignored. The 25 year guarentee obviously not worth the paper it is printed on! Avoid. More...

Had a leaking conservatory roof so I contacted LJR roofing … I still have a leaking conservatory roof and I am £150 worse off. Please avoid.
Contact was made with me pretty quickly and an appointment was arranged. I was given a quote of £150 to fix the leak. As he and I were unsure what the problem was I asked if the initial repair doesn’t work, will I have to pay more money? I got given the reply No, I will get it sorted for £150.
I thought this was great. However Repairs had to be completed twice and I still have a leak when it rains.
I have contacted this company on several occasions via phone calls and text messages to arrange a further appointment but I am getting no reply. I have asked for my money back as the agreement hasn’t been fulfilled but I cannot get through to anybody. This customer service is disgraceful and I would suggest using a different company as I still have my original problem plus a window that is now sealed shut. I have spent £150 on nothing. More...

I came back twice spent more money that he gave me i told him he needs a new roof on is consuvintry he said i cant aford it so Basically he want me to put a new roof on the conservatory for £150

Phone the person at LJR he arranged site visits... first one time he couldn’t make it arranged another date .. didn’t turn up didn’t answer phone calls . . make what you want of it.. not impressed More...
