Do not trust this company. Lyas completed work on a roof a couple of months ago and charged £1,700. It has subsequently had major issues and we've had to pay another roofer to fix his shoddy work.
He accepted liability and started to make repayments to us but has now stopped. He claims that if I go to trading standards, they'll just make him offer monthly payments so it's clearly not the first time he's been challenged.
I relied on the reviews on this site to select him and I am massively regretting it. I'm fed up listening to his excuses. Be warned. Do not trust this company and do not trust Lyas.

Unfortunately Lyas spent 3 weeks telling me the job would be done tomorrow/very soon. This meant I was constantly rearranging my schedule to accommodate. Lyas mentioned 3 weeks in that because my job was small (£600), they weren't prioritising it as highly as other jobs. This would be fine had I been told at the start, before having to chase this long. Once the job was done, it was done to a high standard and Lyas was polite and tidy. Based on my experience though, I wouldn't recommend these guys as I feel like I'd just get constantly palmed off again. More...

I had a 30-40 foot dead tree removed. The work was done very quickly on a very hot day.
I’ve only given three stars because I had to ask them back to clear away tree debris left which was lurking in the garden borders.
Lyas did apologise and dropped the price for the inconvenience.

lyass is a polite and friendly man whom responded quickly to the issue of a leaking roof that required some felt batten and tile replacement he works to a reasonable standard and the work was carried out in one day however a second leak was discovered that did not exist before and required a second visit to put right therefore I can only award a three star rating.
