We used Liz to read extracts from a ww2 diary. She delivered the project to perfection and Anne, the owner of the diary, was impressed with Liz's work. Anne had never read the diary of her father George, who was captured at Dunkirk and had remained a POW until liberated by the US army in 1945. What do you love most about your job?
It's so varied! One day I might be advertising a perfume, the next teaching the employees of a big hotel chain about hospitality. I learn a lots from my scripts too - especially audio tours of historic cities - it always makes me want to go and visit!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My husband's job was temporarily re-located to the USA for a couple of years. The kind of visa I had meant I wasn't able to work initially, so I used the opportunity to re-train. I went to college to study acting, and eventually I found my way into voiceover I started my business from a wardrobe in America and I haven't looked back since!
Why should our clients choose you?
I work from a professionally equipped home studio so the sound quality I can provide is excellent. I can usually turn projects around the same or next day (sometimes within a couple of hours), and I provide great customer service. I have lots of clients who come back to me again and again.
