A quack and a charlatan! I would advise anyone against seeking treatment here.

I am not sure if the gentleman who left the last review understands the complexity of back pain and correct treatment with the safety of the patient in mind. It is not a cattle market where you barter the cheapest price and in long term studies a quick 'crack' or manipulation has no long term beneficial effects what so ever. Believe me I have been that road.The reason I attended The Allerton back clinic and Dr Jacobs is to control and treat a long sciatica problem in my right leg.Before I attended the clinic I suffered the constant discomfort of pain shooting down my right leg. Some days would be better then others.I was recommended by a good and trusted friend to Dr. Jacobs who as far as I understand has nearly thirty years experience treating various aches and pains. The reason my friend recommended her was quite simple. Dr Jacobs understands the complexity of back pain and is up front explaining that the quick 'crack' method is a mere short term assistance in controlling pain. The real key as explained on my arrival is utilising as many tools and methods as possible and she used the term and I quote ' if all you have in your tool box is a hammer it is funny how everything looks like a nail'.In short my chronic pain has been assisted and almost eradicated thanks to the various methods Dr. Jacobs has at her disposal. She certainly is an expert in spinal manipulation however and unlike many other practitioners has other methods and techniques at her disposal including electrotherapy, acupuncture and soft tissue stretching all of which are carried out professionally and safely.I was in her clinic for nearly two hours and I paid a very competitive price for such a comprehensive treatment.I would gladly recommend Dr.Jacobs as one of the most dedicated and highly knowledgeable practitioners I have come across.YoursSara Jackson.
