Both Holly and Camilla LOVE what they do, and it shows - not only in their professionalism and the quality of their work, but through the course of their every interaction. Holly & Camilla came highly recommended to myself and partner when we needed new headshots. I love my work but frankly headshots have never been a super fun thing for me. I always felt anxious about the way I looked and whether the images would show me the way I wanted to be seen. With Lit, I came in with a self managed level of apprehension, but finished the session feeling like I was floating! Holly’s makeup & hair skills are so impressive and her energy is just lovely to be around. She totally gets people and she is an expert in making everyone look their absolute best! Camilla is so disarming, authentic, and insightful. She makes it easy to be in front of the camera and it was a really fun experience. Not just fun for headshots, but rather REAL kind of fun, fun. Together they are so intuitive, and attentive. It feels like you’re spending time with friends... two people who totally get you (vulnerable, silly, sexy, editorial, artsy, natural, nerdy, classic, professional... Holly & Camilla are the utmost professionals and are able to lean in to whatever needs to be). I can speak to the amazing experience they provide, and the delight I felt for days beyond the session (so much air in my tires from this unique hype squad, who did for me what transformational retreats do for others). I was VERY happy with my time at the studio. Holly made me feel right at home within the first minute of meeting her. She totally understood my style and the type of "look" I wanted for the photos. She is bright, friendly easy to talk to and very honest about what type of make-up products work best. Camilla took my photos when my make-up was finished and she was like a dream. She totally captured who I am, so much so that I had a difficult time picking the photos I did not want after the shoot! Camilla is incredibly talented at bringing out the best in a person that she shoots with her camera. I have been following her work for years so I was not surprised when she was taking my pictures. This spring our family had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with Camilla and Holly. From the very beginning, we felt sooo comfortable with these wonderful ladies. Holly did a great job with make-up and helping me look camera ready. Camilla was great in helping us choose exactly the right spot for the vibe we were going for. She also has a great eye for getting that perfect shot, including many candid shots which ended up being our favourite.
