Lisa always ensures she has professional models and great props for us to work with, but also gives us plenty of time to practice our skills during her sessions. We met Lisa around 9 months before our wedding at a local wedding show and instantly we felt at home with her, her stall was beautifully set out and we felt like she instantly had time to discuss every element of our day to come, we discussed ideas and exchanged details to met at a later date.
Upon visiting Lisa at her studio to discuss options we where taken with how organised her approach was, her expertise and most importantly to us her love for her work shone through in every example and story she could show us, after that first full meeting we knew we wanted Lisa to shoot our wedding for us.
Over the coming months we stayed in regular contact exchanging ideas and also sharing some great personal time with Lisa at our pre-wedding shoot, at the suggestion of Lisa we wisely had the shoot at our wedding venue, not only did it give us a chance to get used to the camera and how Lisa worked, it gave us a great opportunity to discuss shots for the day and to explore our options in much more detail.
Finally our day had come, Lisa with the help of Kaye couldn't have made it any more perfect for us, from joining us in the morning and documenting every step of our day perfectly to seeing us well into the night we couldn't have been any more happy with the day (she even managed to sort out the Mother of the Brides make up :)). To have a great and easy personal connection with Lisa was massively important to us and she managed to keep us natural throughout the whole day, from organising me in the morning, dealing with our families throughout the day and even keeping the hotel staff in line both Lisa and Kaye where 100% professional while also keeping that brilliant personal touch to everything they did with us.
After our big day the one thing we looked forward to the most was seeing our pictures. We where absolutely blown away with the collection that was presented to us. the quality of the pictures was simply amazing and we spent hours pouring over the work with family and friends each one as amazed as the next at the attention to detail and the beauty of the shots taken.
Overall bringing in Lisa to shoot our wedding was easily the best choice we made for our entire day. we are truly thankful for the service and could not recommend her more highly. simply sublime.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The key thing to getting great photos is to click with my clients, which is something I am very proud of. Not everyone enjoys being photographed ( me included), so feeling relaxed and getting on with the photographer really helps.
I also take time to get to know exactly what you want from your session with me - be it a wedding or portrait or business portrait.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What they would like to do with their images i.e. do they want images to hang on the wall, or digital files, is it to promote their business etc.
With weddings what kind of style they like i.e. traditional, modern, relaxed, or a mix of all types, how long they need a photographer for, what is the most important thing for them to fit within their budget etc.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the pleasure on my clients faces when they see their images for the first time!
I also love being part of the wedding day, and love being around all the wonderful dresses and shoes etc - after all I am a woman!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being able to do a job that I love and am passionate about. Being my own boss, so the creative aspect is down to me. Aspiring to be as good as some of the best in the industry.
Why should our clients choose you?
I go back to my answers to the first question about what makes a great photograph. Clicking with your clients is SO important I feel. We are all different personalities and come from all walks of life. Being able to adapt my approach to suit the client I am with comes naturally to me, and I would like a client to feel they are working with a friend as well as a professional.
My photographic skills are also constantly being added to, and I belong to a high level photography mentoring scheme that encourages me to push my boundaries in what I can acheive with my image composition and quality.
