I found Linda when I was in an extremely low place due to trying for two years to fall pregnant and failing. I was turned down by one reflexologist who assumed that because I already had a child, I wouldn’t be able to find childcare to go to each appointment and therefore refused to treat me. The first time I contacted Linda she replied straight away asking for more information about myself and when I explained the issues I was having, I felt that she instantly felt the need to care for me and was going out of her way to ensure I could see her as soon as possible. My first session started with Linda going over my history where she sat and listened, and straight away I felt relaxed and comfortable about talking about the terrible time I was having. I explained that I already have a beautiful little boy who was born in December 2015 which I had naturally after 18months of trying. My husband and I decided we wanted more children and as it took some time to fall pregnant the first time we decided to try again after our first child turned one. Sadly, at this time my dad passed away leaving a huge hole and obviously I was not really in the right place. However, we still continued to try but we were not getting anywhere. We decided to go down the IVF route and in May 2018 I had a fresh cycle which failed. In July 2018 I had another fresh cycle resulting in a positive pregnancy test but the day after egg transfer, I had an ovarian torsion which resulted in having an emergency operation and sadly I miscarried at around 8 weeks. In January and February 2019, I had two frozen embryo cycle which both failed. Finally, in April 2019 I had another fresh cycle resulting in a positive pregnancy test with twins although sadly, only one survived.I started seeing Linda after I had recovered from the Ovarian Torsion operation and at this stage I was in a very low place and almost felt like giving up. Having been through all of my history, Linda started her Reflexology treatment. I can honestly say that I have never felt so relaxed after one treatment. I remember feeling as though my body was so relaxed and almost like I lifted out of my body and my mind felt clear; It was simply amazing! The facilities Linda has are excellent, calming, welcoming and very comfortable; there were a number of times where I fell asleep even though each time, I went I told myself not to!I saw Linda weekly and if I did miss a week for whatever reason my body definitely missed not having the session! Each week Linda would tailor my session to suit what I needed by asking how I was feeling, where I was in my cycle and what was happening with regard to my IVF treatment. Linda often asked what colour best described how I was feeling and would give me the same colour crystal to hold during the session. Very often I would say “yellow” which she then suggested to imagine being in a field with lots of sunflowers around me. As I chose this colour week after week and my IVF treatment was getting close to when I was going to be having my eggs removed and then the embryo put back in, Linda suggested to buy some sunflower seeds and plant them, so it was like what was happening to me. I planted the seeds with my little boy, we watered them, and we watched them grow and this really helped me to think about what was happening to me. Linda really taught me to focus on what was happening inside me and think about what I wanted my body to do in a positive way. The sunflowers grew and so did our baby!Although my treatment with Linda has finished, she still continues to message me to see how I am doing. I think this is testament to how much she cares for each of her clients, as we are always in her thoughts. I highly recommend Linda as I cannot thank her enough for what she has done not only for me but for my family as she really helped me out of a deep dark hole, and I could not have done it without her. I was referred to Linda in the midst of Bronchitis earlier on in the year. Over the weeks and months Linda has taken the time to get to know me and to address my health and wellbeing holistically. She has provided valuable insight into my mind, body, and spirit and has rebalanced my energies. Linda's treatments are addictive and an hour is never enough.
