After beginning my journey towards healthier eating, I realized I had a ton of questions. There is so much information on what is ' good' or 'bad' for you and a zillion different diets to try that it is overwhelming, and all I wanted to know what was right for me. I found Linda and was so glad I did! It was wonderful being able to talk with a real person about my existing lifestyle and what I wanted to change. She was honest and was open to suggesting changes that worked for me and my tastes. I loved that she was not pushing for an overly strict diet that would eventually fail because I would end up feeling like I was missing what I loved. Instead she helped me incorporate my favorite items (even desserts!) while still maintaining an overall healthier approach to eating. I started working with Linda when I became aware that I was at a high risk for heart disease due to a hereditary condition. Although my cholesterol levels were not bad, my cardiologist wanted my LDL very low. After three months of working with Linda I was able to reduce my LDL by 40%Linda showed me how to read labels correctly and quickly outlined a plan to manage my diet meal by meal, which included daily calorie, saturated fat and carb levels. Linda was also able to provide a wealth of information regarding food options, including options for meals and snacks to make, specific products to buy at local grocery stores, as well as prepared foods to buy. We discussed how to handle ordering meals while dining out. I found Linda very easy to work with and would recommended her to anyone needing help with nutrition. More...

I would thoroughly recommend working with Linda. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of the food products on offer in all the major grocery stores (Whole Foods, TJs, Sprouts, Safeway).  She provided a wide range of recipes (and fat-reducing cooking tips) that my fiancé and I have enjoyed incorporating into our diets. We have both been successful in losing weight.Linda provides excellent nutritional expertise mixed with a practical approach to eating healthily without requiring unrealistic or unwanted exclusions.  You can have your cake and eat it too; you just need to be smart about when, how often, and what you could eat instead. I struggle with 10 pounds that come and go over the years.  I exercise every day and have a very healthy diet.  I was so frustrated that I couldn't occasionally have a snack without gaining weight.  It was a constant battle as I felt deprived most of the time.  I spent  2 hours with Linda as we went over my 4 day diary of food.  She pointed out where I was making mistakes.  We then talked every day for two weeks as we went over the meals I had eaten and how I could have made some better choices.  She was also eager to help me look at restaurant menus to make good choices before we went there.  Giving me guidelines of how much protein, fiber and carbs has given me a great outline for success.  I have lost the ten pounds plus some effortlessly.  I feel I now have the tools to keep my weight down to a desired weight.  I highly recommend Linda if you want to lose weight and not feel like you are on a diet. I wish I could give six stars.  I began working with Linda in 2012 and have experienced a total transformation ever since.  Linda's approach is one that uses balance and moderation, while educating clients on a comprehensive understanding of a nutrition label and making good choices as often as possible.  We typically meet in her beautiful home office, which is very peaceful and quiet.  Linda takes the time to listen and always makes me feel right at home while offering helpful, constructive advice.  She is insightful and sincere in the thoughts she shares during our sessions, which often includes "holistic" life topics other than diet and nutrition.  My food and cooking knowledge have improved by far since working with Linda.  After we first went grocery shopping together I had and a whole new toolbox of ideas with which to work in the kitchen!  I would recommend LindaRD to anyone looking to improve their overall nutrition knowledge, gain a supportive cheerleader or just to increase their quality of life!! Linda's approach is not a diet, so much as a change to the way that I eat.  She helped me understand nutrition and plan healthy meals.  She is there every day to coach and encourage you.  I really did not feel hungry (very much) because the food that I ate was more filling and had the write  ratio of protein to carbs, etc.  I lost 20 pounds and have kept it off for 5 months now.  I highly recommend her. My husband and I, went to Linda by the recommendation of our doctor. We struggled for many years with our wright- we knew what to eat but sometimes we did not think about it.  We can say honestly, that Linda has opened our eyes. We had a month and half of sessions with here. She knew our problems and she tried to focus on what can be done in order to lose weight but at the same time not to make us very miserable in this process. She always had really good ideas and very creative suggestion about things that we can cook or what can we order when we eat out. Linda has an expend knowledge about food, the modern life style and she knows how to combine these two factors together. We never felt bad about telling her if we ate something "bad" . She engaged us not to give up and change our mind about different approaches towards food. Again, I must say we still eat our Pizza, Sushi and In and Out - but she managed to make us to control the amounts, how and when to eat them. We see so many people that struggle with weight and sometimes  do these crazy diets- all of this is useless- once you will get with Linda you will see how this woman can change your approach- we are just a really happy couple that worked with Linda and we really loved it. After many, many years of dieting, I just didn't know what to eat anymore.  Linda has given me a very doable, comprehensive plan, so I don't have to wonder what I should be eating.  Within the first few weeks, I felt much better, had more energy, and a working food plan.  The scale is slow to budge, but it is definitely going in the right direction.  Linda works with me one on one, adjusting my plan to maximize results.  Having accountability helps to keep me focused, and I know that I will be talking to Linda every few days to review what is working and what needs adjustments. I feel that finally, I have guidance from someone who has been through this journey herself, and is committed to ensuring it happens for all her patients. More...
